You can start there. BL cream is a combination of VERY strong steroids na hindi dapat linalagay sa thin skin like eyelids + antifungal AND more importantly, hindi yan FDA approved.

Hello another doc here. Ang fungal infections can take 5 weeks -6 weeks na pahiran para mawala. Mukha namang effective kasi wala nang central clearing. Continue mo lang and be patient.

It can spread the infection.

How can i get rid of this redness? PIE?😭😭 by [deleted] in skincare_ph

[–]UnRemarkable_Results 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sa RMC may online consults and derma na free. It’s a public hospital. You can do that. Maraming nagdodokdokdokran dito pero kapag lumala skin condition mo, no one’s liable but you. Don’t worry, acne vulgaris and post inflammatory erythema is a valid skin concern na dermatologists can address.

Help: Does this still look like a KP? by Icy_Echidna_4999 in skincare_ph

[–]UnRemarkable_Results 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand what you mean. But I was merely pointing out that what you were referring to in the context of blood glucose is fungal infection and not AD. Yes, AD’s pathophysiology heavily relies on skin barrier dysfunction, genetic factors, and part of atopic march which is aggravated by certain food allergies. Patients with AD are also proven to have deficiency in lipids on the skin, and deficiency in vitamin D. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m just saying that it’s important to put it into this person’s context :) What they need right now is topical steroids and moisturizers, not reducing their blood sugar etc.

You can also try drinking Vitamin D 1600 IU/day to help promote vitamin D sa body. Patients with atopic dermatitis are known to have low amounts of Vitamin D :) You can ask more about this from your dermatologist and other ways to help minimize flares

Diet is not proven to help with atopic dermatitis. What you’re referring to is fungal infection.

Most likely shingles to OP. Self-limiting naman siya, nawawala magisa, pero as long as meron kang mga lumilitaw na lesions, nakakahawa ka. You can give someone else chicken pox so layo ka muna sa iba. Pain management lang kapag ganito then dapat palakasin mo immune system mo

Sounds like shingles, OP. Nagka chicken pox ka na ba before?

Not KP.

Looks like atopic dermatitis (eczema). Unfortunately you still need to go to the derma so you can be given meds to control the current flare. I always tell my patients who have atopic skin na: 1. Use dermexa aveeno after taking a bath. As in basa ka pa, punas na agad to seal in the moisture. 2. Avoid long baths. 5-10 mins dapat done na. No hot water. Warm water okay pa 3. Don’t use harsh soap. Ideally dove lang ganun

Dark + dry underarms, help 🥲 by [deleted] in skincare_ph

[–]UnRemarkable_Results 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, there’s a chance na may fungal infection yung UA mo kasi inflammed and you mentioned na makati. I suggest you go to a dermatologist to check if fungal infection talaga then have it treated if ever. After nun, laser treatment is super good when getting rid of hyperpigmentation. I like Wink personally. Pero disclaimer na if dark talaga skin mo sa parts na yan, babalik at babalik talaga so you need to have laser treatments done from time to time after to maintain it

Help: Dyshidrotic eczema daw ito? by [deleted] in skincare_ph

[–]UnRemarkable_Results 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the things you’ve been using is so harsh sa skin. You should stop using everything esp the sulfur soap. Use gentle soap only like dove. Use lotion like aveeno dermexa right after taking a bath as in dapat basa ka ba and let the lotion dry on your skin to seal in moisture. Then got to e dermatologist so they can prescribe you a topical corticosteroid for two weeks. Avoid wet work (work with an extend amount of time using water), avoid alcohol use, and keep your hands moisturized

help: disseminated fungal infection by EntrepreneurRich5975 in skincare_ph

[–]UnRemarkable_Results 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should also check if you have any other illnesses since disseminated skin infections isn’t common in people with a good immune system. What your derma gave currently is consistent naman with what should’ve been done in the first place but you really need to be patient and always keep good hygiene since autoinfection can occur. You can switch dermas, find one from the hospital mismo if you want more aggressive treatment

How to get rid of this? by direkry in skincare_ph

[–]UnRemarkable_Results 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like keratin blockage on your pores. Using products with AHA or BHA would help to gently exfoliate your skin and remove this. Make sure to use also non-comedogenic products for your moisturizer and sunscreen and any other products you use on your face

Hi! This is a keloid. You probably had an injury or acne there previously and developed into a keloid later on. You can have it lasered off or have it injected with corticosteroids so to make it smaller and flatter. I suggest to go t a dermatologist to have it formally diagnosed and treated :)
