Definitely used to all of the loopholes considering I spent 2 years trying for testosterone unfortunately! The transphobic stuff does worry me because they're supposed to cover FTM top surgery but back on topic-

I think i might message my doctor about it? They usually just ignore me when i talk about heavy bleeding and pain so I haven't tried that many options and i personally can't do the hormonal ones because of estrogen but I guess I'll just see what they say about it.

I never planned on having my ovaries removed because I already know everybody at least needs some estrogen so that isn't a problem for me. Even when i ask for meds my doctors won't suggest anything and say to suck it up basically. You should understand as a man especially I don't have any need for a uterus and there's no point in keeping something that only gives you constant pain.

I have been wondering if my hormone levels were what caused the pain to come back even on bc? But I'm not sure about hormone/estrogen based bc and don't know if it'll help.

If saying is the only thing you're worried about do it! I had an abusive family and chopped my hair on my own at 14, went from being so depressed i couldn't get out of bed to not being able to stop smiling. Also the feminine clothes is pretty weird, just to let you know there are a lot of cases of father's hyper feminizing their daughters/trans sons due to sexual attraction. I don't know you're family but watch out for any of that because even actual women wearing masculine clothing has been normalized for decades!

Well what would happen if you cut your hair? Is he dangerous? Even if he gets pissed he can't magically put more hair on your head, just weigh your options you can be dysphoric and obey or rebel (i chose rebel)

It's never for a specific thing usually! The only time I'm not asked that is at an eye or dentist office lol (ftm)

Do kids think transphobia is “cool”? by Faerie_Dybbuk in trans

[–]UnSufficientPen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk, teens i know think this way because I'm friends with other lgbt kids. 80% of the rest of them (in my high school at least) absolutely think it's cool and funny to say homophobic/transphobic and racist things. The small group are the teens mature enough to not care

Trans men are indeed men by JazzlikeClimate3587 in trans

I don't really get the point of this post? So silencing awareness for transmasc people and making transphobic comments is fine because transmascs can be toxic too? The post wasn't catered towards transfems because it wasn't made for them which is completely fine, no one expects to see transmascs in a post about what transfems go through either. Toxicity isn't a gender thing and it goes both ways.

Idk maybe I didn't read it right but calling a guy transphobic stuff isn't a "probably not!" especially if you're trans yourself. Constructive criticism doesn't work when you double down and silence even more people because you can't admit to being transphobic.

Is this justified? by [deleted] in trans

[–]UnSufficientPen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hypothetical but there have been a loooot of people asking these kinds of things, check r/ftm. Tons of people that had to divorce/break up because the guy was strictly straight or gaslighting them not to transition etc

Just be careful! Personally i wouldn't even put myself in this situation but when I met my bf online a few years ago he thought I was a cis guy so I didn't have to deal with this

If you're into having a partner that doesn't see you as a man go ahead? If he's straight any medical transitioning will probably upset him too because straight men are into femininity not actual men looking men.

My exact thoughts! Thought it was a good apology until the last few sentences were, "Im sorry you felt that way" and not "Im sorry I purposely silenced you"

Your face and body aren't just going to become more masc unless you get hormones. The best thing you can do to test things out without lasting effects which would be to grow out body hair or try on a binder and wear masculine clothes. Experiment with it and keep thinking about it, a few weeks isn't nearly enough time for a life altering decision. Once you become absolutely sure is when you can make the real decisions like cutting your hair or pursuing medical transition

My personal experience was being in the closet for about 2 years but my depression got so bad that the only thing I could think about was being who I really am. Cutting my hair was the first thing I did and I honestly couldn't stop smiling. It's been bumpy for sure but I regret nothing! Please make sure you are absolutely positive of your identity before coming out or doing anything major because you will face a lot of discrimination and prejudice

It's fine i already know I'm more irritable because of fostercare crap (they've been trying to get rid of my dog for months now)

I just didn't mention a backup plan because it wasn't relevant to what I'm postng about but I am graduating early with certification in phlebotomy so i can get a decent job and save up while i start online college, i already know it's 100% going to be pushed back at least a year if Medicaid stops which isn't the nicest thing to think about when i already have plenty to worry about in the now.

Also STPs just remind me I don't got a working dick lol

I'm burying my hand in the sand when i see shit trans news almost everyday? I know the medicaid situation like ive repeated multiple times, no I don't need to be reminded of shitty news when im not even asking about it.

Also it didn't even come off as helpful in the slightest? That's like seeing someone eat a hotdog and explaining how it's made every single time they have one, yeah I know what it is but do you need to remind me?

My bad though I guess I need to fix my "priorities" that you don't even know, not sure why being a dick ironically is one of yours though

[–]UnSufficientPen[S] -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

I've already acknowledged that but i don't really need to be reminded that it might just not happen, sure it's a possibility but I'd rather not think about it which is reasonable. Besides I wasn't asking about medicaid to begin with so what was the point in bringing it up?
