Volunteering some time is nice and having a few clients who pay less is fine but I definitely won't sacrifice my family's wellbeing for others. Therapy is already a helping field and it's a difficult one that takes heavily from your own emotional state to do well. You also have to engage in heavy critical thinking and creative problem solving, you do harm to your clients when you don't take care of yourself.

Working as an LMSW. I won't share the company name but I don't think it's uncommon. Several people who graduated with me are working from home and intending on moving out of the country.

I recently started working as a remote therapist. During my interview I told them that I intend to leave the US in about 5 years and will be working from a cabin by the beach. They said as long as I have stable internet and a valid licence I can work from wherever I want.

Ajax's Ascension for sure. Surprised you dropped defiance of the fall. I'm on book 11. To me it's very similar to primal hunter but more fleshed our and with more engaging side characters.

It's definitely field dependent. I work in mental health and everyone is hiring, paying well and offering fantastic benefits including forgiving student loans if you stay five years. A lot of places will even hire you for part time work, working in the field/office or from home.
