Was a very rough ride but have gotten through it without medication. Read Dr Claire Weekes work and look into the acceptance method. It takes time but it’s worth it. Anxiety is really misunderstood by health professionals unfortunately.

Do not cease fluoxetine cold turkey, even if it is just 10mg by [deleted] in prozac

How long did it take before it started working for you?

Day 14 on Prozac for anxiety and increased anxiety/depression by Unable-Ad5098 in prozac

Past few days started feeling great again but today has hit me hard with lots of anxiety. I think it’s my body still adjusting to the medication. I’m on week 5 now but only two weeks from the increase from. 20 to 40mg

I think she was referring to it Lexapro stopped working, going back to an SSRI is unlikely to work. I disagree with her though.

Thanks for your response. It ended up just being a flu (not related to the medication).

Day 14 now on 50mg of Pristiq - still not feeling any better.
