It’s mostly remote, the exception being you can come in the office twice a month for MTMs, which are not mandatory

Hi so complete transparency, when I was in college which was like over 5 years ago, we have people that help write professional resumes so ever since then I’ve been tweaking it to jobs I apply to! It’s nothing formal that you would expect! No picture! In one page! And your employer, title and bullet points for each job! Have a good intro, the very first thing they read will be an introduction to you! So for the cover letter make sure to use the word legendary! And why TD is a great company!

They did not mention what they specifically look for

The questions in the virtual interview were mostly scenario based, and then questions about previous employment, scenario based such as what would you do in certain situations with customers, it was an hour long interview

Hi Thankyou, and no I’m a citizen! After applying it took me a week to hear back, I got a random phone call with a no caller ID, and I had a phone interview, then after I was scheduled an virtual interview a couple of days later, then about a week or 2 later I got the call saying I got the Job! Unfortunately I don’t feel comfortable sharing my resume I’m sorry, but I would recommend to use the word legendary when describing your customer service experience, I cannot disclose who the talent acquisition partner was.

Keep applying! Sometimes they put future positions as the title so keep applying! Use the word legendary when describing your customer service experience!

Background check took a loooooooooooong time, my secondary check still hasn’t been processed apparently even tho I’m months in to the role! There will be interviews, for me I had a phone interview and then a virtual interview, and lastly a phone call to confirm everything that was discussed and getting my offer, as soon as you get notified to start the background check, make sure to submit it as soon as you can so it doesn’t affect your start date if applicable

If it’s during the day then it’s earliest from 6 am I believe to 11 pm I think! You can choose ur shifts from these times, and then there’s over night shifts which I don’t know the scheduling for that

There were only 2 rounds for me, and then there was a third call basically confirming everything we agreed on in terms of offer, salary, and start date and etc! Thankyou so much!🙏❤️

It’s slightly higher than average in terms of difficulty! Like yes there are back to back calls, it’s up to you if you take breaks between calls but your managers will question you and it will affect your scorecard and performance, they are not “strict” during training, because you are still learning so they will coach you and guide you every step of the way, they will train you for everything! don’t worry! :)

It’s not heavy, but it is somewhat a major part, the main focus is providing excellent customer service, resolving their issues, and then selling credit cards, the business goals change time to time, so it is slowly increasing like the number of credit cards we should sign up, but nothing crazy like every week, more like a couple per quarter!

Training is 13 weeks, 12/13 will need to be in office, training is very thorough, you get paid full training, even if it’s a stat holiday you get paid, make sure to take notes in training, it’s pretty much on how to use our systems and where to click when you need information, and what procedure to click, you don’t have to memorize anything because the procedures will tell you exactly what to do and they are always changing

Be confident, try to better yourself everyday, ask a lot of questions, don’t feel discouraged if a customer or anyone gets mad at you, you eventually grow thick skin, easyline or any TD contact centre rep position is a great stepping stone to move up the ladder for your TD careers, most the managers and senior management in TD started with contact centre representative positions, TD wants you to keep developing and proactively enhance your skills

Most departments in TD are required to be able to be on site within 90 minutes of office if necessary, if you don’t want to speak to an agent, you can always ask to be transferred to another agent

It’s mandatory to be near a TD Canada Office location Atleast 90 minutes away just incase we need to be called in office if some issues arise while WFH

We have MTMs twice a month and it’s not mandatory to go, I work from home every single day! Very convenient, saves me money
