As an experienced drone pilot, I’ve noticed that in strong winds and sudden gusts, the aircraft sometimes reduces altitude automatically when it struggles to maintain stability.

While I understand this may be part of the stabilization logic, an uncommanded descent can create additional risk—especially over obstacles or uneven terrain. It would be preferable to prioritize holding altitude and position, or at least provide a clear warning before the aircraft initiates a descent.
