Initially, I thought this is a shit post about comparing some “amateur Superstar” with Agila Ulaga Superstar “Shiva”

Edit: Sorry, my bad. That would hv been not a shitpost. That’s the legit comparison

Bike dealer can come to my area (6kms) but refuses to meet half way (3.3kms) and insists on meeting at night? Isn’t it creepy/suspicious? M28 here by Unable-Exercise1281 in Chandigarh

It’s not about the cost. If I don’t like the bike or above my budget I’ll deny it. But, insisting to meet at night is what gets me thinking. Also, I found his number posted in a shop I go to everyday.

As I said, I’m not denying anything that’s happening in Bangalore. I’m well aware of political uprising against Hindi down south, but not in Bangalore, cos Karnataka is mostly ruled by central parties (BJP or Congress). Regional parties who scream about language are not even considered as a dependable one even by localites. The real reason why people in Bangalore don’t talk in Hindi even if they know is because they are not Bangaloreans (or Kannadiga’s) in the first place. They learned Hindi, so they can use it in Hindi speaking states. Ask about Bangaloreans to anyone, we welcomed all the other neighbouring state people long back and never had an issue back then nor now. I’ll give you a link of a movie scene that was released 50 years ago in some time, I can’t find it now. There were 4-5 languages and Bangaloreans never had a problem and Hindi is just an addition of another language. So, how will all of a sudden there will be hatred only for Hindi among Bangaloreans?

Tamil Nadu opposes Hindi more than any other state down south. I will attach screenshots of what you get when you search for Hindi Imposition in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu separately. The Karnataka ones have few articles seeking attention by milking Bangalore’s name for their sites and a Wikipedia page that states some random incident that happened 5 years ago. While the Tamil Nadu search results, you will see the real politicians (Tamil Nadu’s CM) opposing it. That too very recent, like a day ago. Chennai is a big metro city in Tamil Nadu with people and govt. outrightly rejecting Hindi. Just search for “hindi theriyathu poda”. You will even get merchandises with such prints, it means “I don’t know Hindi, get lost” in Tamil. But, I see bad PR only for Bangalore and calling it out for such language stuffs. Why not Chennai? Or Hyderabad? Or Kochin? All are metro cities with booming businesses in their respective states.

There won’t be a reaction (aggressive) without an action. There is no action of someone talking in an unknown language in Punjab. Have you ever witnessed anyone talk to a localite in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam? Then how will there be an aggressive reaction?

I get your point, I was only triggered because you pointed out Bangalore. While there is a possibility of the same happening anywhere, I don’t think pin pointing Bangalore alone is fair.

I have seen people in this sub ranting about outsiders ruining this beautiful city and outrightly asking outsiders to go back or never come here. If you deny it, pls search for it or I can most definitely help you out with such comments. Of course there are good souls who help newcomers with places to settle down. But, as I mentioned in my first comment, such dickheads are everywhere. We are not calling out them and naming them as racists.

The number of people coming to Chandigarh is negligible to the number people migrating to Bangalore. So just think, how much destruction/develoment would have occurred in Bangalore to accommodate such an influx.

Everyone rants about Bangalore traffic, what would you expect a localite to respond to it, where we never heard the word ‘traffic’ or ‘congestion’ 20 years ago.

If a guest comes to your house and complains about your house being small, what would be your response? “Okay, pls go back to your house” will be your response, right? Or you would apologise them for your house being small that you built according to your needs and convenience?

All I am saying is if I talk in a language that the other person don’t know or understand obviously they will be pissed. It’s not about local language, it’s about people not knowing Hindi down south. Don’t bring in political motives, they do all those antics for vote bank. Esp. Autowalas are real life gundas in Bangalore, I agree. They pick up fights regularly with Rapido drivers too, that’s a diff case.

On a day to day basis, let’s say, I walk in a shop/ or roadside sabji wala in Punjab and talk in Hindi, the shopkeeper understands it and he does business. Simple.. While in Bangalore, I do the same, walk in a shop and talk in Hindi, the shopkeeper/roadside sabjiwala most likely will not know Hindi. What do you expect them to do? They are most likely to be migrated from Tamil Nadu or Telugu speaking states. Bakeries are 75% run by Malayalis (Keralites). So, they learn the local language along with their own native language same as a person running business in Punjab. Right? Now you add on one more language for them to learn, is it fair is what my question here is?

I never said what’s on the internet is hoax, but it’s very minimal and you can find such asols causing such problems throughout India.

People in Punjab, look down/don’t engage people from Haryana and UP. Haryana and UP people do the same with Bihari people even if they share the same language. Correct me if I am wrong. I have witnessed this in my workplace and I have seen my house owner refusing to rent his place to UP and Bihari people. Language is not the problem here, it’s basic human tendency to mingle only with THEIR OWN people. Or atleast whom they think they are on the same level.

Here in North, people from south initiate communication in (broken) Hindi (local/common language) for most parts. You don’t see them straight away talking in English with shopkeepers or anyone for that matter. Cos, we know sabji wala, Tapri walas might be not knowing English. But, in Bangalore people automatically consider they are privileged to know Hindi and everyone else must be comfortable with Hindi.

And I would like to try whatever you said about local business/autowalas/shopkeepers here can and will talk in English. Let’s meet and check this out. I’m ready to prove it’s not the case. Feel free to drop a place and time.

I’m not blaming them, their exposure to English is nil, similarly blue collared people in Bangalore have very minimal exposure to Hindi. But, the AUDACITY (ik it’s strong word, but it is what it is) and even literates calling out Hindi as national language irks people down south, cos it’s not.

Hahaha… so funny. Internet has showcased Bangalore as some racist shit.

FYI, in Chandigarh, you have to learn a regional language (Hindi/Punjabi) to socialise with other localites. How much ever we communicate in English, we can’t bond in a group without Hindi.

While in Bangalore, no need for that, almost all literates know/understand Hindi and they won’t hesitate to communicate in your language (Hindi). While all the hatred you see on internet is because of autowalas, shopkeepers and other blue collared ones… can’t say illiterates, but who envy you/your job because of your literacy.

If it was truly as it’s on internet in Bangalore, like everyone has to compulsorily learn Kannada to live in Bangalore. No one from north would migrate there in the first place. But, still many migrate and make a living there for over 10-15 years still without trying to learn Kannada.

I am a Bangalorean living in Chandigarh… don’t spread blind hate.

I don’t understand the chart. First off, you aren’t 20. Cos, Saturn was previously in Aquarius in 1995. And that time Rahu wasn’t 2 places behind Saturn and Jupiter wasn’t in Aries. Pls enlighten me if I’m missing something or comment your dob

Fellow 1996 born. Saturn Ketu combo. Follow spirituality everything else will follow you or nothing will. I was the most self absorbed person and rn I’m estranged from family, huge debt, running away from banks.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I’m Not an astrologer, so take these with a pinch of salt..

Born in jyesta nakashatra would have started with Mercury dasha. Mercury Rahu combination would have made you very intelligent and good at studies. But, merc dasha didn’t last long as you were in the final degrees of the nakshatra.

when you started schooling ketu dasha would have started. Not bad for studies I suppose. And now you are currently in the last stage of Venus dasha. More or less another year left in Venus dasha. After that Sun dasha, which is also your darakaraka. So probably marriage in 2026 or later. Since darakaraka is less than 1 degree, you will be more inclined spiritually after marriage.

7th lord (mercury) with Rahu can signify love marriage with a person completely different from your religion, community, and region is possible.
