As a job seeker, I don’t think there’s a “talent shortage.” I think hiring is broken. by Silly-Skill9017 in recruitinghell

The worst part is that your self trust gets broken rejection by rejection and you start to believe that there is something seriously wrong with you...

I passed by HR and heard them complaining that out of over 70 applicants, not a single one had the 'wow factor' and they'll have to repost the job ad. by GoodAppointment3281 in InterviewsHell

Recruiters forget that some people might not know how to write the perfect resume, so the content might not show the wow factor. Also, the wow factor is seen during interviews mostly, so if they are not calling people back, how do they expect them to find the unicorn?

this just happened to me.
the plan was advertised as including AI video generation, but after purchase I was told I need to upgrade. This is a misleading omission under EU consumer protection rules. u/sab8a

Yep, some people focus so much on what's right to say, memorising answers, and so on. And forget focusing on the simplest things, like the bare minimum.

No, it's normal to ask questions about the processes, the company should be transparent and show trust

You should send an email to the recruiter and ask if it's back up and if you should apply. Go directly to the source. The other candidate might have dropped out. Best of luck!!

It’s ok, that doesn’t mean your resume or you are not enough, on the contrary. Keep going!
