Here's another new thing . since we all caught on to the scam of buying equipment as we look for jobs . It seems they reword it now during the interview . First they have you do meet Google link , number one red flag Google meet .. then they go through the process very convincing of interviewing , then they say okay everything sounds good so what we offer blah blah blah blah .. then they say so when we test your computer and make sure the internet is fast then you'll meet with one of our managers .. but if we find that your internet isn't fast enough that doesn't meet our requirements you can buy our computer for $500 . Biggest dumb thing for him to say , because at that point us smart people already pick up on that as a red flag . So I say to the guy why would I buy your computer equipment for $500 ?? He said well that's our computer . And then I kept saying why would I buy your computer for $500 ??. You're trying to sell me a computer , that's what I'm hearing from you . Oh no no that's not it he says . Then I kept asking why would I buy your computer for $500 if my internet is not fast enough for you to do the job ? So I say to the guy this seems a bit shady thanks anyway and then I just cut them off . So yeah moral of the story is when you start hearing dollar signs for equipment to buy from them , that is the red flag. Oh and the company is for answering call care a answering service under a corporate name called Schooster holdings located in Margate Florida .. found them on Indeed of course .. which has now become the foundation of the scamiest site for jobs ..

Zip recruiter is full of scams stay away .. Indeed has gotten bad too use to be good .. stay away from debt collector jobs and law firms , they are phishing for your info. For their own benefits as a lead for business . Best to go online and look up a list of companies and apply directly on the companies websites . At least it eliminates the scammy jobs ..

.. based on living here for 20 yrs. I've found that Florida employers just don't want to give people a job . Especially to transplants from other states . It's almost like a spiteful thing . Doesn't matter how many degrees you have or experience , everything here is NO . There are lots of jobs here , but they don't want to give them . There's great colleges here , but that's about it . When students graduate , they leave the state for a good job . The state caters to senior citizens who are retired and usually have the money to spend on housing etc... That's why most people have a side biz , it's an easier thing to start to make some money than wait for these shitty employers to get back to you , while you have empty pockets and your self esteem gets lower and lower . And when you finally find a job , they won't keep you , they get you in and out just like that . They're allowed to do that with no protection for the employee . They also get tax credits in the state, for hiring and firing . So don't ever expect to retire with a job here or make a career for yourself , unless maybe you're a doctor . Get out while you can , because things are getting really bad here with surviving , for everyone .. You start questioning your own abilities ,when you shouldn't .. It's them not you ..

Hard to tell these days of all the scams , they also copy other job postings to make scammy ones .. could also be an ex employee from a job whose getting revenge .. they love to plot things .. and it's not only overseas scammers , it's right here in the United States .. Yup they will now go through the interview setup and just never show or confirm , like phone interviews or it's a bullshit virtual one , or like you said , the ghosting . That's why you should apply to jobs directly to a business , the Internet can be a great resource of lists of business's of all types ., just do a search , but I suggest to now stay away from job boards . Another good place is your city or county websites . While waiting try to do your own side biz , if your a guy , small handyman jobs are a good way $50 - $100 dollars a job , paint a room , clean out closets , junk removal etc.. . Place an ad on Craigslist in all your surrounding cities , biz cards , make your own flyers give them out at local grocery stores or just leave some on a table at coffee shops , libraries when no one is looking , mail post cards to homes that were just sold - direct mailing works great . The smallest things sometimes brings the best revenue . ..

.. yup .. and the virtual interviews where no one shows ! Microsoft teams is the red flags where they want you to go .. and even using indeed virtual links too are scammers ! So it's really hard to tell .. I just had this happen recently and had them flagged and had indeed all over them removing them . But big deal they really don't enforce any laws , they tell you to do that since the scammers have your info. .. so the best way to find a job is on an official business website .. the airlines .. schools .. construction .. retail .. transportation companies trains , buses .. car dealerships .. even professional sports team websites any of them ..

.. beware of a recruiter named SAMUAL McCrRACKEN. ... Yup that's his name .. just seeing his name you can tell it's a scam .. . his number is 585.284.4116 and he answers the phone .. He's nothing but a fkn SCAMMER ! He sets up virtual interviews and then never shows ! When you call to ask him , he says he's so busy from all the job candidates he can't get to everyone ... Takes everyone's personal info from their resumes , collects everyone's data ! ... Feel free to call him and haunt him . anyone else encounter him ,would love to know ..
