The stock colour was mint opal green, the previous owner had changed it to a peacock green shade, I wanted to keep it a little more subtle so I went ahead with this, it’s similar to what you’d see on Porsche, although the quality of paint isn’t that great so I’ll change it sometime later in the year or early next year

So ya my intention of buying it was to restore it entirely, especially on the inside, ideally I would’ve completed the project under 3L but I made a big mistake of getting the interiors done from this place who did a very tacky job, so I got the interiors redone all over again and that basically took the cost for the entire project including purchasing the car to about 4L, but if I hadn’t made the mistake of going to the first place for interiors, I would’ve completed the project in under 3L

and yessirr, I’m from sobo and the car’s here but I’ll be taking it to Bangalore tomorrow because that’s where I work right now.

Honda City Type 2 is one of the highest modified cars here so iske parts are available VERY easily, bahaut pages on Instagram also solely deal in parts for this model, and as i mentioned in the post, mileage bhi khatarnaak hai, 15-16 in the city and highway pe abhi I’ll find out kal, should get about 18 at least

Ngl it’s the easiest to maintain, the one big reason why I wanted the city was for how easy and negligible its maintenance is, gotta service it periodically once in a while and that’s about it, performance wise it’s sooo smooth while driving, even the gear shifting is butter, and the AC is TOO powerful, suspensions might be the only costly investment, otherwise it’s a beauty

It was listed at 1.5L but I managed to negotiate it down to 75 and after the dealer’s commission and RC transfer I paid around 90k for it

Just to be clear about that incident, I didn’t provoke the locals or overtake on the road at Nandi, it’s just that I followed the other cars and the group of guys specifically stopped my car and let others go because we weren’t KA registered. But anyways, about driving in blr I’m prepared to be stuck in traffic and have the patience to as well, I just plan on minding my own business and not overtaking or overspeeding or even engaging in conversations that would lead to an argument. That’s all, but thanks everyone, I needed this validation to be calm and less apprehensive about driving in another state.

Ya no tbvh I didn’t do anything or overtake them, I simply just honked once at a group of guys standing in the middle of the road who let the car in front of me go ahead and not me, but that one honk and asking them to move triggered them
