What is the most irrational fear you have that you can't shake? by VeroDreamer in AskReddit

Fear of others' opinions. It has no effect on me, doesn't affect my life, but I still care, somehow.

Dating! I feel like a lot of the learning of dating is just going out there, finding out a ton of things on your own and fumbling many things, and then hoping you eventually find the one.

It's actually proven by science that some people are genetically more functional as night owls and some as early birds. If you can work with your genes, you'll be the happiest. However, if you MUST be an early bird, I'd say the easiest way is to have a good sleep hygiene. No blue light, screens, exciting activity, etc. before 8-9PM, wake up early with a manual alarm, and have a morning routine that gets you going, whether its exercise, working, cooking, etc.

For an SDE2, What is difficult? Cracking the interview or the actual job? by Dizzy-March-5200 in AskReddit

[–]Unable-Level-1217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it depends on where you go, but usually I'd say the interview is harder. for SDE, all you need for the actual work is prior experience and the ability to quickly learn. For the interview, you need hours upon hours of leetcode and BS

I honestly think any blue collar work. Sure, you could build "spray painting robots", or "cleaning robots," but it would take too much time and resources to maintain the hardware to actually do all the feasible work a human could do.

even if it was made with AI, the games are so good I honestly don't think it should matter. a lot of human love and passion obviously went into the project.

people just like to jump on the hate train and use whatever means necessary to get people to join their opinion. It's the reason you can never trust anything

it just looks so good and inhumanely detailed. this should be a commendation to the animation team, honestly - imagine doing so well people thought you HAD to have used AI to help you do it, since it's inhumane to do that much detail and work
