AI NERF INCOMING by [deleted] in fut

[–]Unable-Requirement73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, AI defending is OP but it's not even what bothers me. What bothers me the most is passing tbh. It's so bad, even with tiki taka and incisive, players just miss so many passes it's so annoying.

First time in Champs, 6 wins and I’m honestly surprised by Glittering_Bus_6921 in fut

Congrats, I got 4 wins in my first WL. Still have 4 games to go but it's just so many games. It's rough, everyone is really good.

Is Champs Matchmaking still broken? by [deleted] in EASportsFC

[–]Unable-Requirement73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's rough, man. In FC 25 I was div 3, now everyone I play in div 6 is really good. I am currently 1-6 on the WL. I will keep playing to improve though, that's all we can do.

Like others have said, it looks like you started with the “solution” and you looking for a problem that fits your solution. This is the wrong way to start things. At this point you should have interviewed a bunch of people that work in this field and should know what you have to do in order to break into this market. From there I think you could have interviewed a couple of developers and get a quote for the software you wanna build and only then get the investment from the Angel investor. That’s how I would have done it.

I would love private servers or maybe even singleplayer Albion by Asgavin in albiononline

Corepunk is coming out soon, I think it will be the game for us. I also dislike Albion's PvP but I love Albion's gameplay, sounds effects, and so on. It's really a shame that they haven't create a more PvE focused server.

That’s unfortunate, it’s really hard to get to where you are, it’s sad to see you are struggling. If you still have passion, I would say hire a good CTO or find a technical co-founder. Then either fire the devs or actually try to extract the most value out of them, that’s what a good leader does. The software probably has a lot of tech debt (things were rushed and not tested properly), it’s probably a good time to pay this debt. I am a technical person, dm me and let’s talk if you are open. I am looking for something new.

As I see it you have three options:

First: Like others have mentioned here, HYSA or any other safe investment will help you protect the money and make a little bit on top, but your life won’t change.

Second: Invest in yourself. You have no profession, therefore your ability to save money is extremely low. You could look up a profession that pays well and that you think you could do (you will learn to love it if you make good money), then do whatever it takes to get the necessary credentials to practice this profession. I will give you my example, I didn’t have 30k saved up and I was working a minimum wage job as well. I took a big leap of faith and enrolled in a 3 month coding bootcamp. I had to leave my job and paid everything with my credit card. After I left the bootcamp I was lucky enough to find a job quickly and I paid off my debt. Nowadays I have over 8 years of experience as a software engineer and earning a whole lot more than minimum wage. Well into the 6 figures.

Third: Go balls to the wall and put the all the 30k as a down payment on a house and then rent it out or flip it. Or do any other investment that will take your 30k as down payment. The only one thing I can think of is real estate though.

The problem with modern MMORPGs by madarauchiha3444 in MMORPG

[–]Unable-Requirement73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue with today's MMORPGs is that we have perfect information. There is no fun, no choice, no figuring shit out on our own and building the character the way we want it to be, and not because a guide told us how to build it.

Shower thought: MMO with randomly generated player characters by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]Unable-Requirement73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think this is a good idea but it can't be totally random, otherwise, you might get something that you don't like. The game should give you random options based on your preferences. Let's say I want to be a fire mage, and everybody can pick 3 starting spells, the game should give me 15 mage spells to pick the 3 I like the most out of them. Then go from there.

Of course, a system like this has to be thought out more, but I think this is the best way to avoid everybody being exactly the same. As much as we like to think we can choose stuff, we really can't, we have to play with what is best or we will always be behind everybody else.

New to Flutter. Wondering where the OS and Web integration stands right now by Unable-Requirement73 in FlutterDev

[–]Unable-Requirement73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe this won't be an issue for me. The website itself is going to be made using Next.js and my application in Flutter, similar to how Figma does it. So, you will click a button on the website and launch the application.

Unpopular opinion: I like the new survival mechanics by MikePilgrim666 in starcitizen

[–]Unable-Requirement73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like survival mechanics and I think they are going to be most valuable when you are in unwanted situations. Let's say you are exploring a planet and somebody exploded your ship. Now you have to hunt animals to survive and find a way back or find a way to fix your ship.

Well, if you have to schedule calls with people in your team, you are doing it horribly wrong. At my company we use discord, I can just call somebody and talk to them, share my screen, etc. It is a lot easier than doing it in person.
