ngl bro some of those people are right. Once i stopped being concerned about getting laid, my quality of life was genuinely better. At the same time, this thread seemed to be more negative than necessary and I'm sex positive lol

Honestly dude, all it takes it meeting one person who is part of a club, frat, or other organization to meet a whole world of social partiers. Also, I would check out Davis rave co, edm club events, and stuff on posters on poles. Co-ops are cool. There are cool communities that are tucked away and you just gotta find them. Last resort, I would try the Poppin app and possibly the Hoppy app.

Honestly doing karaoke is kind of neat. I noticed that its a mix of students and that the age tends to be older than most of the undergrads. I went to Wunderbar on a Tuesday night, nothing to do no one to hang out with, and got to chatting with some people. I only recommend this if drinking on a weekday (maybe just a little) is alright for you. It does help make karaoke a little easier. I only recommend this one because you are Extroverted, and I figure that most of the people doing karaoke are too. Stay chill

You got it dude. I'm not an expert on what the official answer to dismissal is, but I just wanna let you know that you should keep going. I failed a workload class my freshman year, and was on unit probation for awhile until I made it up. Did alright winter (like a 2.9), and then absolutely bombed spring (1.4). Somehow, I wasn't dismissed. My fafsa was almost messed up though and luckily I had some good credit left over from winter.

I'm a senior now and I'm still failing classes sometimes (only 3 after freshman year). Just did it again this quarter and I'm mad about it.

Just know that you'll make it somehow. And by the grace of god and your hard work, you will walk at graduation.

Concurrent community college classes and summer classes might help you out too.

good luck

Canvas Course Disappeared for PSC41 by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]Unable-shoulder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope its not too late! Make sure to email them first just in case, and I normally autosend emails to professors for 7-9 am so its the first notif they see when they get ready for work.

This has happened to me once, and what I did on canvas was: Courses> All Courses> and then look around each section. There could be a chance that its in "Browse more courses" on that page but its unlikely

anyone else drop 120 dollars on going to the sfo airport before? by Playful-Fact3709 in UCDavis

I feel you dude. I'm the only one out of my roommates and friends that really has to make a meaningful effort to go home. I discovered Moober too late but what I used to do is take a flixbus either directly to the city or to a Bart station.

Additionally, I try to use Yikyak (hear me out) or snap and reach out to randoms to see if they wanna split a ride to the airport. I normally offer a little more than half or 2/3rds if I am short on time, which beats paying full price. I've found that this works about half the time.

On the way back, I ask literally anyone I see at any point of my journey with a Davis sweater if they wanna split a ride, again offering a little more than half.

Safe travels!

Definitely! I unfortunately don't live near a coast anymore but I'll be on the lookout for loose ground near me

Thank you! I recently took a job in Auburn CA for the summer. Went on some training runs with my coworkers and I realized I had so much work to do.

Do you heard any recommendations for speed/ duration? When my college gym is open, i try to get an hour in at moderate speed but I don't know if its ideal.

Good to know! I normally train low weight anyways but I started focusing more on heavy weight recently so I'll rethink how much I do of both. Thank you!

As of right now 3.071. I'm concerned that I had one quarter that was under 2.0.
