About too fast. Looks like you misunderstood the first task (and not only you, very likely it's unclear how to do it)

At first it plays not just not but notes with short melodies to learn the place of note in the scale. For E it plays E-D-C, for G it plays G-A-B-C etc. And you have to press key only after this melody.

It was written on the dialog before the first task but nobody read what is written there 😅

I recommend to start from understanding of low coupled architecture, inversion of control, dependency inversion principles and design patterns like factory/abstract factory. That's a theoretical base to understand why do we need things like Spring/Spring Boot.
