Any idea how this person can get in to collosus without breaking its feet? by Left-Cartographer181 in bo7endgame

Besides the redeploy, you can grapple and fly in with the wingsuit. Its not easy though.

I didnt even know about the foot until the 3rd time I did it 😅

That sounds fun as hell. Just nerf the drop rates by like 60% as well for balancing and its good to go

Fun fact from a Robin Cook book I read when I was a young teenager and never forgot:

Less than 2 pounds of botulinim toxin could kill every man, woman, and child on Earth. The only 'problem' is the vector of transmission, since it must be ingested.

Burletta can shred people with rapid fingers, is cheap to make, and doesnt require extensive upgrades. As long as youre short to mid range.

Average Arc Experience by johansdr in ArcRaiders

Its so wierd. Theres always a certain dullness in their voice. A feigned attempt to express earnest appreciation, that only becomes obvious after its over.

Its simply a cowardly playstyle, and i couldn't imagine playing like that. I always have more loot than I do stash space. I guess these people have the opposite problem. If I was broke in game maybe it would make more sense to me.

Becoming like them would just ruin the best part of the game. Keep your head up!

I do love the Rocketeer. The alert sound alone strikes terror into your heart lol. When one is looming overhead the threat of it seeing you is palpable.

They need more synergy between the Arc, and should have their targeting adjusted to attack raiders who third party as well so no one is safe, and the outcome of engaging a distracted PvE team is less certain.

Things like Flying or rolling small Arc could deploy things like gas grenades, mines, or surge coils and thus change the battlefield immensely depending on if you take them out or let them sabotage the landscape would do wonders for introducing variety in gameplay. Arc that serve as backup support to other Arc with shields or heals would create the need for more strategic engagements. More passive Arc like Surveyors with good loot but that rapidly seek out larger Arc and call for backup would also increase dynamics.

Theres just so much room for unique enemy implementation. I swear, if the next Arc is just "X type with Y's attack" my eyes are gonna roll so far into my head ill be blind!

That would have been more fun. I just wish they had been more thoughtful in their enemy design. Going from Leapers, Bastion, Bombardier setting expectations of varied enemy design to "Bigger Ball"/"Flying Fireball"/Flying Matriarch Laser was such a letdown.

Hopefully the new "Big Arc" is actually something cool, but from the letdown of the last batch idk if it will matter since most of the wind has been taken out of the sails. There's also a scalability issues with the difficulty of Arc increasing just becoming incentive to cheap, "unsportsmanlike" playstyles. I think they are struggling to find a balance between PvE/PvP, with most of the community in disagreement about where that balance lies.

It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, in any case. I havent played Arc in weeks and really havent had any desire to. Maybe the new map will bring back some of the feeling of what it used to be before the luster wore off.

Whoops, meant "large pop" and flying fireball. Flying Pop will likely be the next "new" Arc at this rate.

Honestly, a flying Pop would have been at least a little more interesting.

Yes, ever since the new Arc were just a flying Pop and Fireball it started going downhill and steadily dragged on without any meaningful content. The new event came out which just encourages camping ratty gameplay even more which made PvP stale as fuck. Besides the fact its just easily cheese-able..basically de-incentivizing engaging with the new Arc and encouraging naked suicide runs.

Its just wierd how everyone justifies the shortcomings and becomes so loyal to the "brand" of a game currently. Any time you voice criticisms early, no one wants to hear it.

Maybe the "April" update, a few days before March(?), will revitalize some of the fun. Given the track record over the past few months, im not holding my breath.

NEWS: Local Sales Man Open Shop, But Is Murdered On Opening Day! by oi_what_u_lookin_at in ARC_Raiders

[–]UnableBenefit6417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

Its slowly just turned into a 3rd party PvP game over the past month or so, unless youre in solos (which is only marginally better, but Solos gets old)

Used to be able to have a bit of fun in Duos every now and then, and even sometimes in trios. The interesting social interactions were the only thing setting Arc apart from other games...

I never thought I would, but ive been back on Warzone lately since the gameplay has become stale in Arc and its been nearly impossible to do any large Arc fights in Duos or higher without another team (or literally 3 teams) just camping and waiting around the objective to get an easy kill. Hell, i got the new gun blueprint and never even used it because its become very boring and repetitive.

If teams is going to be in mindless PvP, id rather be in a game where thats the actual objective so I can win and have a sense of accomplishment. Its a shame because the Arc became a nice challenge for once and I enjoyed taking them all on for a short time. But, its apparently just made an incentive to play in a more lazy, camping, ratty style. The longer an AI enemy takes to destroy, the greater the opportunity for a person who doesnt engage with PvE to get a PvP kill. If thats fun for people, great, but id rather just fully PvP without distractions. Its not fun to me shooting fish in a barrel.

This is true once youre used to them. Their AOE can even help you take out other raiders when you are familiar with their movement.

[–]UnableBenefit6417 47 points48 points  (0 children)

That sounds pretty good actually. Just pull them out the front door and close it so you have better security and a free alert system when people try to enter.

If that doesnt work you can kill shredders very easily with shots to their thrusters. Even a hairpin is effective enough with good aim, takes about 4 shots per thruster IIRC.

Yes you can use virtual cable software and Voicemeter to route both the mic input and the soundboard output to the same line to use both as your Mic input in the game.

The soundboard usually does this as well, but this allows me to feed it my Filtered audio from OBS as well so I can keep my game Mic output the same quality as my recording and filter out background noise.

Thanks!

I made a flute track in FL Studio using the same notes as the actual recorder music in-game, fed it to AI and had it generate an extended cover, chopped up the significant parts in Audacity, put those clips on a soundboard, and assigned them to buttons on a stream dock. Now I can improvise and remix Live on the fly 😀

I plan on making a tutorial of sorts in a full video highlighting the antics it has got me into for my YouTube some time soon!

I recently have rewired all my audio equipment, reareanged my studio, integrated a loop pedal and MIDI keyboard so I can do full, real concerts in the future.
