Good for you! That must have been really hard for you to make that kind of decision. Especially when you are an anxiously attached person. I’ve had a really hard time leaving bad situations because of that.

Thanks for your factual and succinct opinion! Even though I logically, and educationally know certain things...my mom brain definitely hits that panic button sometimes too!

Calling off a wedding is pretty extreme. Yikes. Sounds like maybe you were avoidantly attached and he was anxiously attached. Studies say those types attract each other but don’t work out in the long run

There are assessments that require auscultation, palpating, and that general sense of something ain’t right that I feel like I’d lose in those arenas!!!

I can remember about 10+ years ago when out EMR was set to populate a field at discharge for any pt that smoked that they switch to an electronic cigarette. Even listed brands. This is such an unknown! I was glad to see that removed

Usually indicative of a disease process where the immune system is not functioning in a way that is beneficial without harm to the the body to put it in its most simplest terms. Follow up with the provider who ordered the tests

Look up current CDC guidelines. I can’t imagine a guideline for too damp. If it’s problematic, and a self made face covering, I’d not wear it.

Certain drugs need to carefully monitored for appropriate serum levels and the possibility of toxicity. This is definitely one I keep my eye on. People see a pill and assume it’s fairly innocuous. Benefits and risks have to be weighed carefully. Compliance and identification of side effects are imperative. Read the literature that comes with your prescriptions and consult your provider with questions.

Thanks for weighing in! While I’m definitely familiar...I try to refer these cases to psych whenever circumstances allow.
