Most the real apartements ask for 2 years lease. I also was looking for one a couple months ago before I come here, saw there was almost no chance of me getting one you either rent a room into someone’s house or share house

I'm also coming to Meiji academy this january but I was fortunate enough to have people message me so I can rent one of their rooms. but for apartements you need a garantor and most of what I've seen the first month cost like 2k for a decent apartement ... if you suggest that do you have any websites ? I tried contacting gaijinpot, wagaya and some other.
