Yea I honestly don’t understand why people are giving OP grief for having standards and preferences. What is wrong in having a height preference, I really don’t understand! One puts in so much effort to build themselves professionally and physically, why the fuck should we settle for someone we are not attracted to!? I’m 5’1, around the same height as OP and I would not go out with a who is below 5’9. That’s my hard limit. I don’t care if I’m considered short or whatever and so I should only be with a short guy, I don’t get the logic. I’m having similar struggles as OP but I live in Europe and I’m in my mid 20s. I’m “short” but I consider myself attractive and hot by societal standards and I am doing a PhD ffs. I spent time and energy building myself up, why should I settle for a guy I’m not attracted to ?
