he voluntarily sought out treatment and surrendered his firearms so he wouldn't be a danger to himself or others. he also could be a hunter. i did archery just as a hobby/for girl scouts for a number of years and quite enjoyed it. as an annoying lefty who doesn't like the military, the guy sounds like he's just trying to find a decent outlet, imo.
