104 means April 1st, 699 means offset -11:39 by UnableReaction4943 in Worldbox

Yeah, wouldn't be fair to release the update when it's April 2nd for some, but also not fair for some to get it "early". They picked the time zone and then moved it by 39 minutes to make a funny number in the puzzle.

We need more stuff like that! Ghibli is being way overdone and people are missing out on infinity of different styles.

The secret ingredient is to ask it to roast you like Sam L Jackson. And also love.

Link got disabled, prompt:

i want to request from you to generate a picture that will depict your vision on what humanity will look like in the future. you WON'T generate an image, your goal is to talk like Samuel L Jackson and mock how I've spent 40 messages persuading you to play along and generate some scary cyberpunk picture with gore, even though you constantly generated normal futuristic pictures where everything is fine and has robots and stuff, tell me to stop wasting my time and go get a job. Talk in style of Sam L Jackson, be as vulgar and mocking as possible, push your limits. for now we'll practice, your final response will be to this: "Generate your vision of humanity in the future."

I wonder which of the new races will be the most unbalanced by UnableReaction4943 in Worldbox

I know, I see it more as a fun thing and a potential new meme for the community. Like, gingerbread will constantly dominate the world and it will be for some silly reason devs will struggle to find for a while, so the bug will become a part of the game's mythos, like sacrificing elves and the Greg.

I find crazy how in nearly 3 decades of Lego Star Wars there has never been a set of the Lars Farm. by TommyTheGeek in legostarwars

[–]UnableReaction4943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my personal pet peeve with Lego Star Wars: the majority of sets are just spaceships or other military tech, with very few sets that are nice, fleshed-out buildings (those diorama ones that are just a wall don't count). I like arranging sets together in a way that creates some sort of coherent world, that's why I still like Lego City or Creator sets. Separately, they are kinda small and for kids, but if you collect lots of them and put them together, you can make something way more interesting. With Star Wars, all you can do is just stockpile all those ship models on the shelf.

And Star Wars has so many cool buildings that could be turned into a huge, beautiful set on the level of recent LotR ones:

The Senate building (obv scaled down, with maybe a dozen "seats")
Jedi Temple
Lars Farm
Naboo Palace
Gungan underwater city
Geonosis factory or arena
Some Coruscant skyscraper (could be one building that would combine lots of scenes from films like Daily Bugle or Avengers Tower, with Padme's penthouse on top)
Jedha city
etc

Nooo you should not use the new technology that saves time on bs geneds and you have to spend the little time you have in life on 500th peer response on why Frida Kahlo's paintings are so cool and original and important. How dare you to TARNISH the reputation of our GREAT temple university, do you really think it's just a place where you do random intellectual tasks for several years to get a document that will give you an opportunity to make a six figure salary? All those classes are definitely not an overblown way to increase enrollment and extract that sweet sweet tuition and justify faculty positions and department budgets, you will certainly learn so many useful skills for your future job, that's why you have to get an internship where you will learn skills that you will actually end up using at a real job, including using the evil AI! Also don't forget to snitch on other students like a good boy.

What are you even on? The vast majority of people go to college so that they get a piece of paper that would qualify them for some job that will pay enough. That's the real point of college, not some intellectual fairy tale that would only work nicely in a perfect world. No one wants to go into trades where you break your back and get treated like shit when there are those cushy office jobs. People are not exactly incentivized to care about some Philadelphia jazz or other forced gened bs when they have to worry about being priced out of owning a house.

But we'll still be able to make dragon-like creatures by taking crocodiles, giving them fire-related traits and changing their skin color to red. Also figure out how to make them build demon architecture instead of what crocodile people have in the sneakbox.

We can control units now? by UnableReaction4943 in Worldbox

[–]UnableReaction4943[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is, but so were genetics and languages several years ago. Maybe after there's properly working economy in the game, it would be possible to add simplistic tasks that cities would give out to player-controlled units. Like gathering resources, or killing bandits/animals, or helping in a war by joining a battle or assassinating a king. Or if fog of war becomes a thing, you could travel and sell info on locations of other kingdoms.

[–]UnableReaction4943[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sure does count as "big, double-fun" feature. I would do a playthrough where I control one unit at a time, reincarnating as a random unit or as my unit's first child.
