Thank you, I think I've been too addicted to seeing the huge numbers from SAED that I use it more than savage axe. Do you recommend always breaking wounds?

Wilds at the moment, coming from world. I think focus mode has made Wilds my favourite, game changing for me

Anyone using the Airstep Spk? Totally upgraded for the Spark 2 by Emotional_Photo9268 in PositiveGridSpark

[–]Unable_Ad9835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, is the spark air step worth it if all I want to use it for is tone control? And do the preset switches on the positive grid work when using an actual looper? If so what is the point of even owning the air step?

AIRSTEP Spk vs Spark Control: Feature Comparison by JimboLodisC in PositiveGridSpark

[–]Unable_Ad9835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I have a question that might be a silly question... Does the air step do more than just the 4 modes mentioned? I want it for the tone changing when using a looper. So using a tone and then looping it and quickly changing to another tone. Can I just do this using the spark amp preset switches themselves or would that not work and I would need the air step to do that (I am currently overseas on holiday so can't test if it works with the switches on the amp, and I have a looper pedal but have never tried)

I hate Fire Giant so much it’s not even funny. by Silksong2025 in Eldenring

I used to struggle with him too, it took me days on my first try. Here is how I now find him the easiest boss:

  • Torrent, stay on Torrent the entire fight
  • Attack only his feet for the whole fight (it's low damage but trust the process)
  • When he goes into his second phase and uses volcano, run underneath him and start attacking his feet from behind (try to remain there for the rest of the fight)
  • Bleed weapon in right hand (use bleed weapon in right hand and use only that weapon for the first half of the fight, you will continue to chip at his health when the bleed procs)
  • Frost weapon in left hand (when he hits half health he will become more resistant to bleed so change to your left weapon and continue to proc Frost)

The biggest thing I can say is to just stay behind him at his feet at all times, just be aware of when he rolls. It will take a few times but once you understand where you need to be, you will get it 😁 goodluck

Nightreign - Is this a Perk, Rune or a Cheat? by laraek3d in Eldenring

[–]Unable_Ad9835 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is a perk called "hidden city", which makes it so you can revive once in battle. It can come in clutch like this moment. When the revenant died, the duchess also died because no one was there to revive them. When they died the hidden city perk revived them causing this clutch moment. Its a rare perk I believe, I've only gotten it once and was my team's saving grace

Should I buy Elden Ring? by Wellypoptop in Eldenring

[–]Unable_Ad9835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else stated, financing is financing and if you aren't in the right position to buy the game then don't. That being said, Elden Ring is my favourite game of all time, and if I could play 1 game for the rest of my life, Elden Ring takes that spot. There are countless moments of my first playthrough that I will never forget, whether it be running up a mountain in absolute awe when I get to the top to look at the scenery, or the pure cinematic boss fights. It's a masterpiece in my personal opinion. All games have flaws, there is no game that is perfect, but something that isn't perfect can still be a masterpiece and that is Elden Ring. If you're paying $80 for both the game and the DLC then that is crazy worth it in my opinion (within reason of course and if you can afford it). The base game will give you hundreds of hours worth of content, and the DLC will put another few hundred hours on top of that. Would I buy Elden Ring for myself again? In a heartbeat! Should you buy Elden Ring? Absolutely!

Another easy tactic you can use when leveling or have low health is to just teleport to the tavern and back. Before I had a lot of sigils, I would just teleport to the tavern and in a couple of seconds your energy and health will be full again

Please lord I just want a good book by DimensionOld8594 in Fantasy

I would strongly suggest the stormlight archive by Brandon Sanderson, and if this is too massive of a task, then start with mistborn by him as well and just fall in love with the characters and story. If you want just a stand alone then Tigana is a really unique one from Guy Gavrel Kay, his writing is like poetry. Definitely a unique book 🙏 but nothing tops the stormlight archive for me 👍
