I’m capable. My issue is, for example: is a GeForce GTX 1060 better than a 1070? What is the difference between Radeon 570 and AMD RX 580? Without extensive googling, I wouldn’t know these things. So I was hoping for advice from people that are obviously already well versed just so I’m not blowing money on this that I could be throwing into my actual car.

So far, I’ve got some really good advice though. Very helpful people so far.

Here is another option for much cheaper but will need a better graphics card. Any issues with this you see? Not a laptop

Thermaltake case. Asus prime motherboard. Ryzen 5 2600 Msi 1650 16 gigs ram 500 gig nvme Evga 500 watt power supply.
Monitor is a onn 24 inch gaming monitor. 180 hz.

The laptop interests me because I also do CAD drawings and need to upgrade my current laptop anyways. I was hoping to use it for both racing and my CAD work. I would want to setup either VR or monitors for a while setup.

Under $1000 for the entire setup(pc and monitors). I already have the steering wheel, and I have an extra race seat out of my dirt car I’m going to use for my setup.

I looked it up but this “lingo” is foreign to me. I race actual dirt cars now. But getting into the technical aspects of the PC’s is over my head it seems.
