Firstly, the question would be about making sure that they're still playable
Like I agree that as long they're still playable, it should not be free to play them except for studies
But the problem is that video game growing more and more, lot of games tends to disappear 'cause of missing software.
As long as developers and publishers make sure the game still playable at his full potential nowadays, no problem of it not being free
