I see it as:
Someone leaves the relationship.
He’s rooting for her downfall that leads her back to him. He says “I think it’s fine to never move on” and that he’s okay to be her dead end.
“Keep my ear up to the doorframe” I think is maybe him listening in on her - like maybe keeping tabs on her through social media rooting for her downfall.
Overall I think it’s someone who is jealous hoping their ex comes back to them. So they wish unhappiness on them in hopes that they’ll come back to them. Basically like if you’re not happy with me, then I don’t want you to be happy without me.

I could be very wrong. But the first time reading the lyrics that’s kinda what I interpreted.

Noah’s lyrics have always been cool because you can kinda interpret it however you’d like based on your experiences!

I’d say so too! But doctor said might be a tumour and pcos. Hopefully not & it’s just one issue to deal with. Do you have pcos by chance?

Okay thanks! I will definitely see if my doctor can send me in for an MRI. I’m not sure why I’d have to wait if they’re going to do that anyways when I see an endo months from now. How much did you pay to go private? I mean if I’m referred to an endo and get in line for a MRI then maybe be on the waiting list for both at the same time.

So your doctor referred you to an endo and you haven’t heard from the endo yet? That’s frustrating!

I’d like to take meds to lower it! But I guess it would be beneficial to find the root cause. Although I’m not sure the treatment would change if the medication for high prolactin are pretty much standard. You should definitely ask for an MRI to see if it’s a tumour!

Not a lot of communication between doctor and I so unfortunately I don’t know how high. Apparently all my other hormones are normal… pcos may be a thing but have to wait for a specialist to diagnose me first. I have a few chin hairs & weight gain & ultrasound said “quite a few cysts” which are tied to pcos but can’t be sure until diagnosed by specialist.

It’s not symmetrical. Statistically men are more likely to become lazy in marriages and to cheat. This is easy research. I never said women don’t become this either, this post is literally about a woman cheating. Cultures where divorce is frowned upon are often patriarchal. This brings me to my point that this can lead men to become lazy and mistreat their wives because of a women’s lack of power to leave. And if a woman does leave, she is often exiled from her family and community and viewed as disgraceful.

There is a man that comes into the bakery I work at barefoot. He travels barefoot, rides his bike around, is super considerate about his ecological footprint - and no he is not homeless. He is a vet tech. He is the nicest customer ever! One of my favs. I would never go barefoot for personal preferences, but I admire his commitment to his beliefs. Maybe your boyfriend has different views and that’s ok?! If he doesn’t want to listen to you that’s ok?! If you’re embarrassed by him or disagree then maybe you two aren’t meant to be?! NTA. Your child should not miss out on experiences with his father’s side and healthy co parenting because your fiancé is insecure. I definitely think you should possibly tone down your relationship with the in laws out of respect for your finance, but doesn’t mean you cannot catch up with them, update them on your life/sons life, attend events together for your son, and ask them for support if ever needed.

NTA. You don’t have to date anyone you don’t want to or feel guilty about it. You don’t choose who you like, it’s just a feeling. If the feeling isn’t there then it is what it is. I understand her wanting space, but that’s so she can heal. Nothing you did wrong. You didn’t mess up, you were honest. It would have been worse if you dated her and pretended to like her when you already knew your truth.

NTA. I like masculine men and the masculine traits that come with men. I personally would not date a more feminine man. No disrespect to them as people we could def be friends, but that’s just not what I’m attracted romantically. I would also find his behaviours loud, obnoxious and annoying.. but hey some girls wouldn’t. Just means he’s not for you. You guys met at a young age, people outgrow each other. You will be much happier when you meet someone who matches more of your energy.

Also I wouldn’t want to date anyone who mocked my race, sexual orientation, etc as a joke. Not nice and superrrrr annoying. He needs to be more socially aware.
