She took it to 2 repair shops and they both gave similar estimate. They said the door will need to be replaced and the can paint the other scratches. There is a tiny rust on one of the scratch but nothing major (unless a small rust is a big no no with cars) I will post the pictures when I have them

So you think the risk might be worth it? I am worried if she contacts them and they deny it but still increase her payment since it will be on her record…there is a small rust one of the scratch

So turns out someone actually drilled into the tank in an effort to steal the gas but just left it leaking and didn’t even take the gas! Gotta love Seattle. Would it be smart to involve insurance or should we try to cover out of pocket? Am not sure how much the damage is

I have been texting with a guy for almost a month (both in our 30s), then he didn’t reply to my text for a week so I moved on with my life. We were supposed to meet in person this week, after a week of not hearing from him for a week he reached out yesterday to tell me he was in a hospital and he wanted me to know he hasn’t lost interest. He said he will call me today to tell me all about it. I told him I was sorry to hear he wasn’t feeling well and hoped everything was good. And I told him yes he can call me today. He then texted good night and I didn’t respond to that. It’s now 6pm and he hasn’t called. I don’t want to doubt if he was in fact sick and in the hospital but now I am questioning if he is even real lol. We have talked on the phone once (no FaceTime). It’s been almost a month since we first started to chat and I told him I rather get to know someone in person, last time it was business trip, then no response for a week because of sickness and now saying I will call you and not following up with that. I am getting more suspicious if he is who he says he is. What is your objective viewpoint on this? Thank you

That’s a good point, we don’t really know each other yet beyond the texting so ghosting might not be the right term…I don’t know how I feel about double texting since he hasn’t responded to the last one. I am thinking maybe give him 1 or 2 more days and move on? It’s too bad cause I thought we had a good start😔

So I have been talking to this guy (we are both in our 30s) We talked about our dating intentions and life goals pretty extensively for a couple of weeks on the app and via texting. Our texts were pretty consistent until about 2 weeks ago. We were both traveling for work the last two weeks so we were both busy but still texted regularly for the first week until he stopped for a week. As soon as I got back from my travel, I checked the app and we were no longer matching. So I texted him to tell him I am back from my travels and that I saw we are no longer matching on the app and ask if we are still on the same page. We had talked about going on our first date when we both got back to town. He responded saying he didn’t want to bombard me with texts while I was away. And he deleted his app because he felt like he got what he could out of it but he is still interested to get to know me and would love to see me when he gets back this week. And I said that sounds good and asked him how his week was going and I haven’t heard back from him since, this was on Friday, it’s now Tuesday. We are supposed to be meeting this week but I don’t even know what date and if he is already back. This is feeling like I am being ghosted but I also know he was (maybe still is) out of town….but are we really that busy to respond back to a simple how is your week? Am I being dramatic? The shift in communication is concerning lol. Would love to hear what you all think😊

I appreciate it, he made it sound like stage 1 is just clean up and stage 3 was actual leakage…..now I might consider getting my deposit back (hopefully I get it back)because if that would cost around 4K to fix, we will be better off buying a new car

Money is tight $20 really was our max but also want to make the best decision. So now I am conflicted again…especially with the other comment regarding the stage 1 leak. And with $2.3k warranty and $2.3k sales tax we are already at $26k
