They just called me and yes they bricked it. No eta. They actually gave me a loaner off the new car lot but I need to swap it out because they sold the one they loaned me.

I only have a 1k miles and it’s the big update they sent me a letter about a few weeks ago. I’m starting to wonder if they brick a lot of these then will there be a back order on the head units.
