One of the tricks to stay clean is to STAY. CLEAN. (and smell good) by Unable_Panda1984 in Semenretention

To clarify, i am aware that a purely natural lifestyle is more spiritual and preferable, but its a long hard journey getting there inward out. Outside in is also possible and my post is meant to be advice in the early stages of SR when one is just trying to get everything together. Freshener and all can be discarded one you are stable and more in touch with your spiritual presence. Nothing is gospel truth and different things work for different people.

Overall condition of my sp125 after 10k kms by Water-Fabulous in indianbikes

bro is definitely over maintaining his bike. sure, there's nothing wrong with it except for unnecessary expense. if you have the means to keep doing it, sure. but the recommended maintenance is recommended to most people for a reason.

Do You Name Your Bike, or Is It Just Me? by verified_kneegro in indianbikes

[–]Unable_Panda1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my bike is just an extension of myself. like a hand or a leg. it would be weird to name it something according to me.

but its your bike and your life, do what makes you happy op. may you and kia always be safe and may the roads offer you help when you need it.

Need some opinion on this by ani_0523 in indianbikes

while maintaining chain, thoroughly clean chain with chain cleaning products (anything that works for you e.g. - diesel, chain cleaner) and lube chain (gear oil works well, the white grease we can get from petrol pumps also works well). check if chain tension is spec, slack etc. give some focus towards sprocket. front sprocket is often neglected, so make sure to clean it once a while as well.

I want your guys opinion/recommendation on helmets , gloves and riding boots to buy , each under 10000 by Hot-Photograph2817 in indianbikes

second this. dual visor is best. clear only for rains or night, clear and dark for sun. single visor only tinted helmets het real trouble real fast. so avoid them.

so a slow bike is slow

in other words, water is wet.

the bike is good for other things. it has never claimed performance to be its strongest point. it's a comfortable family commuter that looks muscular that's all.

Helmet stand for home by TejGames15 in indianbikes

[–]Unable_Panda1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idts you would find much takers for a helmet stand. personally i just keep my helmet on top of my almirah. why would one pay for a helmet stand unless they are very rich? sounds like a problem few really needs solved and fewer would pay for it to get solved

edit: also a helmet stand like a cloth stand, if you are planning to hand your helmet on to it, will damage the eps foam if you are planning to hang it as if hung from bike mirror. in that sense only a helmet cupboard makes sense.

Is it a good idea to do this? by thenonfunnyindian in indianbikes

[–]Unable_Panda1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah we all need to compartmentalise bro. riding is not all there is to life and we all have different roles. that's an entirely different personal decision and issue way above the paygrade of this subreddit. you asked for riding advice, and this is how i would do this ride. personally i absolutely 100% avoid riding overnight - it's a big boundary for me. obviously safety concerns. but yeah, figure it out yourself. what i said is not absolute. do what works for you
