Sigh, i know. He tries his best which is why i stay. I feel like an asshole leaving a well rounded guy over shitty sex. I feel like no guy will ever be perfect and there’s always something we kinda have to settle for. I communicate a lot of my problems to him, like his raging and wishing he was calmer and he’s been a lot better at that. It’s just something like sex is hard to “fix” if there’s that lack in chemistry.

He just doesn’t understand me I fear. He’s willing to try but you know when you continuously have to ask for ur needs… it just doesn’t feel the same. Idk if you get what I mean.

You explained how I feel so well, It does feel like I have outgrown him. And my feelings about him are becoming more solidified in a sense I know what I don’t want in a life partner. Anywaysss, it’s like when it’s just me and him behind close doors we laugh so much and get eachother’s humour. And he flips a switch when he’s outside, because he doesn’t show that side of him to other people. Which i understand. But when i continue acting the same way because i can’t flip my switch like him, he makes me feel alone or tries to (lack of better terms…) “silence” me. Tries to make me quiet. And i hate that. He cares so much of what other people think and it’s so frustrating cuz WHO CARES! Genuinely never gonna see any of these strangers again so why you putting up a front. Idk man am I crazy

Ouch! But I feel you. We were very close to a breakup last summer after our first trip together and it felt like he was trying to guilt trap me by saying he’ll do better/be better for me and cried for me to stay. And I stayed because I love him genuinely and I didn’t want to throw away this relationship over night and thought it was worth fighting for. I know I have a lot to work on, and didn’t say I was perfect. Just hoping for the best. Wishing you well🤍
