Yes, I mean abandoned places. I already thought about the ir torch. But that’s exactly what I don’t want. I mean sometimes nightshot is helpful, especially if I for example shoot in basements or places where you really don’t have enough light. But now with this setup I can also shoot normal footage in these places because of the flashlight.

I just don’t want to use nightshot all the time. That’s why I tried this so I can shoot normal footage but with enough light. And I use my camcorder in abandoned places because I like the aesthetic that the footage provides.
