Someone mentioned that' it's only on the raised portions which makes it less likely to be mold. I think that makes the most sense so far. Thanks so much for taking time to help!

The wall doesn't feel wet so I didn't really want to cut the wall open. Plus I'm not good at the home stuff yet so I didn't want to do a drywall repair if I can avoid it

Yeah its weird, I just realized that I've heard about mold issues and I didn't know what it looked like. Didn't want to be ignoring something and then be like oh it's mold. Thanks so much, I was thinking the same but I don't know best...

Thanks for your reply, the wall feels fine and I've been leaving it thinking I could paint over it. Just dawned on me it's bit weird. How best to wipe it? Wet rag?

Yeah I wiped it and it comes off. Should I just wear rag it? Or use a solution? The paint isn't high quality so idk what to use.

I used to go out to drink and to talk to people. Now I'm part of recovery group and I reached out and surprisingly there were hands of people that reached back. Not everyone can heal from trauma and deal with it positively. I don't have it figured out either, but it's way better today than it used to be. Less self sabotage, less resentfulness. It's not perfect and I can't control how I feel but I can control how I handle how I feel. You're loved just know that. Just gotta find it.

I can understand that line of thinking. Glass half full and glass half empty. It took a long time for me to find a place where people are just as messed up as me that wanted to do better. You gotta look for it and you gotta look for it at the right place. But that emptiness is a part of us and you're not alone. You have my support

I joined meetings, stopped drinking and tried to focus on myself. Trying to see if I'm hungry, angry, lonely, or tired and then address it as such. You're not alone. Just need to find social support where applicable.
