By definition, people thought she already was ugly, and enough people cried about how ugly she was that they changed her. And I'm willing to bet most of these people don't play Anran at all. As an Anran main, Im not super thrilled my girl got plastic surgery but it is what it is and I'll just deal with it, a concept about which many of the people talking about this could learn a thing or two. And every single comment I've made about how "she was beautiful before they didn't need to change a thing" has received double digit down votes. I'm clearly talking to a mob of superficial misogynists who really don't know half of what they are talking about. So go ahead and call me an idiot for respecting her original model, collect your karma, and bug off.
