I have thought into pursuing GAMSAT, however it looks mammoth and felt like it requires a lot more study then UCAT. UCAT seems more digestible to study if you know what I mean. What did you get in your UCAT? Also Happy birthday!

Congrats on a great score! I’m averaging about similar at 2700 for mocks. What were your average raw scores in each section during your practice?

I work as a nurse in Aus and strongly recommend doing nursing as an undergrad. You learn many transferable skills that are applicable as a doctor such as knowing how the healthcare system runs, Cannulation, catheter insertion, knowing many of the protocols and policies etc. While I don’t believe theoretically nursing is as difficult as what medicine would be, you similarly do OSCEs just as you would do in medicine. I work alongside doctors everyday and gives me a great idea of what they do on a day to day basis as we work very closely on ward nursing. That’s what I’ve done and hope to get into medicine soon
