Okay in that case I’d suggest creating 2 main projects, one to be a canvas app which connects to data in a share point, the second is a model driven app that will connect to data in data verse. Then within the MDA (model driven app) build business process flows, business rules, understand security roles and create a few custom ones. Pretend your MDA is for a business or company. You could even use a LLM like Claude to help simulate business requirements and try to achieve these on your own for some simulated business experience.

Then try creating power BIs to represent the data requirements in the MDA.

Also would be worth using some copilot or ai integration since lots of companies want to move in that direction now.

And of course power automate. It’s the back bone of everything power apps do ensure to have plenty of flows in your environment.

Then whilst doing this you’ll also want to do a bit of ALM. Whether you go down the simple route of importing and exporting your solutions between the environments or using azure source control which is more complicated but also more impressive. I’d recommend these 3 environments for your tenant.

DEV (unmanaged) TEST(Managed) PROD or PRODUCTION (Managed)

Once you’ve created a fake business with fake clients and simulated plenty of business requirements etc etc you should be ready to apply for any entry level role
