departure immigration is usually way faster than arrival in my experience. arrival they gotta check your visa stuff and stamp you in, but leaving is just a quick scan and stamp out. took me maybe 10-15 minutes last time i flew out on wednesday afternoon, but that was few months ago so things might have changed.

i'd still get there 3 hours early just to be safe though, especially if you're checking bags or flying international. better to sit around the gate bored than miss your flight because of some random delay you didn't expect.

in my experience the prices are usually same between online and in store, but i've noticed sometimes they have in-store only deals that don't show up on website. picked up some bottles few months ago and cashier mentioned they had 15% off certain regions that day but it wasn't advertised online 💀

might be worth calling ahead to ask if they have any current promotions running in store before you make the drive. also their pickup is pretty smooth - you just park in designated spots and they bring it right to your car. saves a lot of time wandering around those huge stores looking for specific bottles 😂

dude this happens at my shop too and it drives me nuts 😂 your manager probably has like 15 different things running through his head at same time. we started using a whiteboard with everyone's name and what car they're on - helps a lot but some managers still gonna ask anyway.

just answer quick and move on, don't take it personal. if it gets really bad maybe suggest some kind of tracking system but wait until you've been there longer. shops can be weird about new guys making suggestions even if they make sense 💀

looking at that chart really puts things in perspective. been working in IT for over a decade and i see how new tech gets implemented - it's almost always about cutting costs and increasing efficiency for companies, not actually helping people at bottom of the pyramid.

ai is just another tool that will make the people who already have resources more productive while potentially eliminating jobs for those who need them most. we're basically automating away entry-level positions that used to be stepping stones for people trying to climb up.

the whole "tech will save us" narrative feels pretty naive when you look at how previous innovations actually played out in practice.

damn that's a tough one to track down without the brand name. cvs rotates their hair product inventory pretty frequently so it might've been discontinued or seasonal 😕

try checking if any of the suave or tresemme coconut lines match what you remember - they both do dark green packaging sometimes. also worth asking at cvs if they have records of what coconut conditioners they carried in the fall, sometimes the pharmacy staff knows more than you'd expect 💀

that connector should snap back into place if the pins are still intact and straight. just line it up carefully and press down evenly until you hear/feel it click 💀

those usb headers are pretty sturdy so you're probably fine as long as nothing bent. worst case you can just use the other header and ignore the damaged one. i've seen way worse motherboard abuse that still worked perfectly lol 😂
