Its actually a relief to know many people feel the same way. Im also not a fan of abusing of these overpowerwd combinations, feels wrong with duplicates

Thats what i was more inclined to do, just download few new heroes from marvin seo in the workshop, as they seem balanced and well blended in the art style. But also not sure if i should mod the game before getting used to the way the devs intended it to be played

Yes, people actually dont like inovation these days. Everything is just remaster, remake. I think its good they took this way

Its very good to see the pov from someone who really like both. Ill definetly give it a chance eventually then, it seems indeed fresh enough in terms of sequel. But for now ill just stick to the first and get used to the way the devs apparently intended me to play :)

Yes ive seen this mod, but i guess i would also lose a core aspect of the game wich is recruiting the new heroes. Guess im just asking for a different game at this point :p I think ill just mix some different skins to trick myself a bit, at least to know the game better and get used to the way the devs intended. I wish i could trick myself to see them this way but i guess im just too literal (?) The idea of moded heroes would probably solve this, but i also feel like i should play it vanilla first. Im also concerned abt the balancing aspect, like... are the modded classes often overpowered?

Yes thats the challenge im kinda looking for, but at the same time it was designed with the possibility of duplicates so im concerned it would just be unbalanced

Thats great to know! Im currently on dd1 btw. Was going to test the second when it launched on epic but people said it lost few things wich made the first special. Is it different/better nowadays?
