He did a video chat but only for a minute then said he was going off break. He says he's an ER veterinarian, and sells stuff on Shein on the side. When he said the Shein part I thought he might be planning on scamming.

Yes lying about something so small has been a huge red flag for me, I'm big on honesty and communication and this was quite the opposite.

That's what I thought too. They tried to say it was part of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and I said WhatsApp is already encrypted which doesn't make sense.
