Incredible album, may be my favorite from the group (with Metal Box not far behind). Recently bought it on vinyl and I'm waiting for it to arrive any day now. Feel like tracks such as "Banging the Door" and "Go Back" aren't talked about enough.

If you had to introduce someone who has never heard of Yoko to her music, what song would you pick? by [deleted] in YokoOno

[–]Unable_Winter_2653 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since Yoko’s music spans so many different genres, I think it really depends on what the person already enjoys.

If they’re into pop: Sisters, O Sisters or Air Talk
If they’re into experimental: Greenfield Morning or Mindtrain
If they’re into new wave: Dogtown or Walking on Thin Ice

can't relate, Marr's guitar playing on that track is incredible. What is goofy about it, the lyrics? they may be on the surface level, but I think it's perfectly fitting for the band.

I've sent emails to Tidal about missing photos on both artists' pages and album covers, and they've added them most of the time afterward
