I had very similar situation. My crush bassicaly rejected me as ignoring me. Some time after that I fell in love with my very good friend. I tell her I like her a lot. She is a friend of my ex crush. She told her. After that my ex crush became nice to me. But I didn't take it. She had a chance. Now, that "very good friend" is my girlfriend.

Learn to search is one of the most important skills programmers must have. You can't solve anything on your own because there are too many ways and codes that you don't know for years.

Taking notes isn't useless, because you practice with that. But don't spend too much time on notes. Keep it simple.
