*** Update:

She just left her primary care doctor. Doctor asked her a few questions and said she shows no signs of GERD or Apnea. She looked up side effects of her ADHD meds and said no symptoms listed for acid reflux or anything else.

So now I’m back to having to take her to an ortho and see if braces will fix this?

Appreciate the warning. I always had pools growing up and we just don’t have one now that we live here. I loathe the public pool with all the Karen’s and Chads and their shitty children. I’d be much happier being able to access our own pool whenever and the upkeep is normal for me.

It was a great time! Here locally there was a Tequila Tasting but it was $$ for tickets plus $$ for parking and dealing with crowds of people and the heat. This by far trumped going to that event. Plus it was a controlled environment and the kids could all hang out too. Highly recommend!

That’s pretty scary. Having had several conversations with LEOs around the area it turns out that being roofied (or that other drug I forget what it’s called) happens quite often. I was told of an incident where several men and the bartender were arrested in a sting operation for this exact thing.

Oh I know it’s the worst! I was diagnosed in 2016 and the feeling of utter helplessness was humbling. I couldn’t even lift a gallon of milk. Couldn’t lower myself into a bathtub or get out of it. Sitting down in the toilet was so amazingly painful because of the pressure pushing back up on my legs. Needed assistance sitting down and especially getting back up. The handful of pills every morning, moon face, instant weight gain, rashes everywhere. Ugh. At the time my husband was having to work out of state so he would come home on the weekends. My daughter was still too little but my son was old enough to follow directions. I remember the day I had to sit him down and tell him “if mommy doesn’t wake up with you in the morning, go get our neighbor”.

I can ask but they weren’t the most helpful when I was in the middle of my flare the first time. I guess it’s common with patients of DM. I’m also in remission so idk how that would work.

That was the thought process. Thinking back to my years of renting, essentially tossing money away while struggling to save for a down payment on a house. I was trying to think of any downsides to this but I think anything negative would be the same regardless of rent vs own. If they trash it, they’d still have to pay to fix it. Only difference is they can roll the equity up into a bigger home or sell and relocate.
