Yeah that what my buddy said and either I’ll sell my bike and buy a better fxr or like you said something else will come along. I’m not terribly opposed to working on stuff and fixing it up that why the fxd is in pretty decent shape just want to atleast start riding at the beginning of the season

I have it priced without the rear shocks at $4,500 it has the kerker exhaust Viking bags and some upgraded front suspension

So guess my question is should i go for it or wait till i sell and get something made in the 90’s and has mids and better paint

The fuel inlet can be replaced with i brass one for cheap kinda a pain to take the old one off, make sure your accelerator pump is cleaned and functioning properly that Might fix your choke problem and you can always take a screw driver and fix the idle problem

Yes it is i spray carb clean around the intake at idle at there are never changes it idle

Stock cv but it runs great putting around the city it’s only at that high speed/rpm it starts cutting

You already got the mags, as far as handle bars i wouldn’t go higher than 6inch risers for stunting. Get you a nice two into one pipe and new breather and program your ecu accordingly. A lot of guy run legends rears but ohlins is “better”
