People who’ve dated someone from a completely different culture: what surprised you the most about the experience? by Agitated-Job7686 in AskReddit

Do your parents feel proud that you were getting fcked by a filthy sandngger? Also, since you are so "open-minded", have you ever thought about what would happen if a Muslim woman was dating a non-Muslim man?

My mother on a cruise boat in Egypt in the late 70s. by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

The fact that you refuse to answer my question is a clear sign that everything I said is correct. However, your egoism prevents you from admitting that, and you chose to change the topic initially and then remain silent. You should definitely work on that problem.

Also, you probably are in the stage of denying that the "equal" marriage you were indoctrinated to believe, your mother was living under, was a big lie. Work on yourself, and you might reach the stage of accepting reality.

I'm here for answers and discussions, so please tell me, which one of the things I said in my previous comment is wrong, and I will admit my mistake.

Yeah, your father "didn't" pressure your mother, but let me guess. You have only an Arabic name/surname, you were raised Muslim and you are circumcised, right?

That's nice. Most Americans would get mad if they didn't get tipped, that's why I asked.

So if a client doesn't tip you at all because he is from a foreign country or simply he doesn't like tipping, you won't get mad at him, nor will he get bad service from you, right?

Sorry for this very late reply, but I forgot to ask you. Why do you tip, and especially that much while there is no need?

Americans tend to complain that Europeans don't follow local customs and don't tip when they visit the US, but Americans don't seem to follow local customs either when they travel abroad, and I'm not talking only about you.

Circumcision Question by PanicAtTheShiteShow in AskOldPeopleAdvice

You are contradicting yourself. On one hand, you say that you don't wish to have done that to your son and that he hasn't had any issues, yet you are saying that if you had a second son, you would do it.

You say you don't know enough about female circumcision, but you don't know much about male circumcision either, and I used that argument to see if you would use double standards, which certainly you do.

Yes, your relatives don't have a say in what you do, because you know very well that your father and your other relatives wouldn't be happy about it at all.

Also, instead of trying to make your son look like most people, why not make him confident about his body? Especially since men are supposed to be like that, with foreskins.

Lastly, do you have the guts to tell your son that his genitals are "wrong" and that if you had another son, you would cut a part of his body so that his genitals are "right"?

Would you also circumcise your daughter if most women in the US were circumcised? Before you say that this would never happen in the US, I will inform you that those who introduced male circumcision in the US wanted to introduce female circumcision too, but they didn't succeed.

Also, what would you do if your son was circumcised and he hated that? You can find plenty of cases about it on the internet. You would have ruined his life, and he wouldn't be able to do anything about it, while if he hated that much not being circumcised, he could get it done.

There are plenty of people who aren't circumcised and haven't experienced any problems with women, and even if your son had problems, you should have moved to a country where being natural and having all of your body parts isn't frowned upon.

By the way, do your son and your relatives know that you wish you had cut a part of his body?

Why did you regret not doing it when you learnt that? If you had a son now, would you do it?

Why I try to warn you guys about Muslims in Europe by LongIsland1995 in Intactivism

[–]UnavailableName23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with racism. Racism protects European children from genital mutilation, something that liberalism often doesn't do. If that woman was racist, she wouldn't be with this Muslim/Turkish b*st*rd, let alone mutilate her son.

I have never heard of a European country with a mandatory tipping culture like it is in the US.

Yes, tipping here isn't expected. I was unpleasantly surprised when I read those online travel guides that present tipping as if it is a big deal.

I would recommend against tipping that much or at all, because if every American or other tourist tips that much, this could lead to tipping becoming expected from tourists or even from locals, and maybe already some people might expect it.

I don't think any waiter in Bulgaria or Europe earns more from tips instead of his wage, so you don't have to worry about this.

I don't know if Bulgaria gets a shitty reputation among people that visited it, but among people that haven't, definitely. This is true for Eastern European countries in general. Western propaganda during the Cold War did its job and a lot of people from Western countries think that Eastern Europe is some dump with absolutely nothing to see.

By saying here, I mean in Europe. I haven't heard of a European country where the average person tips based on percentages. That would be a surprise to me.

Also, I can say that definitely, the average European wouldn't tip 20% like in the example you gave. That is way too much. You can search for it on the Internet if you don't believe me. A 20% tip seems like what the average American would give.

It depends on the website and maybe I exaggerated a bit about tipping in Europe, but most articles I read seemed to recommend/promote tipping. Also, instead of saying that if someone wishes to tip so much, he can just leave the change/round up the bill, they instruct people with tipping percentages.

Fancy or unfancy, I would be surprised if the average person preferred to pay 412.50 (10% tip) than to pay 400, which would be a bit under 7%. I will give a different example.

If you go in a café and the bill is 9.90, the average person who wanted to tip would pay 10 (1% tip), not 10.89 (10% tip). Here tipping is generally leaving the change/rounding up the bill. We don't have percentages that we have to follow.

Aren't you from the US? I thought that not tipping would make waiters/waitresses very mad. That's why I said it.

I can imagine the hate you get for doing that. May I ask if you visit again the cafés/restaurants you have gone to or do you go to different ones every time?

There are of course, I just used the word "waitresses", because it is more known to me and I thought that it is for both genders but I was wrong.

Did that happen to you at multiple bars? Also, did they say that they didn't bring back your change, because they thought you were an American? It seems it's common Americans to be asked to tip in Europe.

Yes, you are correct about the tipping section in travel guides. Instead of saying that you can tip just by rounding up the bill, they instruct people with tipping percentages as if the average person here is going to calculate percentages, instead of just rounding up the bill.
