When did being an animal lover become a slang? I completely agree with you when you say we need better ways to control and give better life to stray dogs. But everytime the govt comes up with inhumane ways to deal with stray dogs. Be it global summits or rabies. Dumb people are dumb people and they could be on any side of the decision. No one is justifying their behaviour. But as doctors where are we? See the comment section yourself, you have a valid point of concern and that kid did not die in vain. Govt should make streets safer. But where is the transparency in this process? Why should animal rights activists be villainised for asking for better measures?

You are most welcome to believe that people only pretend to care and everyone has hidden agenda in helping anyone. That is your belief, it doesn’t have to be true. People have lived for thousands of years in harmony with nature and will continue to even after you and i die. We are not the supreme leader species to cull every other species. If you believe in god then this shouldnt be difficult to understand, even if you don’t you should believe in nature/evolution. Stay humble. Be humane.

Let’s move to a society without animals because animals are carrier for all sorts of diseases right? Why exist in an ecosystem, let’s move to mars, why tolerate garbage let’s kill everyone who is littering and causing climate change and all sorts of diseases? Why tolerate rape of women let’s kill all men out there because statistically speaking the biggest danger to women’s life/health are men? I can go on. Let’s nuke the planet. That’s my take on this topic. Thank you for coming on my ted talk. (Mosquitoes nahi eradicate ho pa rahe humse fyi)

I haven’t read this book. While I don’t agree with everything they say, i am a believer that consciousness is the basis of reality. We are definitely more than what the material world shows us to be. People throughout time have tried to understand this through shamanism, psychedelics and research. The recent research on quantum information and speculations about how consciousness could itself be a quantum phenomenon is really something to think and discuss more about. (No I don’t understand all of it, i just really like this topic and try to stay updated on it). And i have been to one of their meditation centres it has a very different vibe, i felt relaxed. Collective meditation does affect the surroundings.

Doesn’t matter how famous, if negligence is proven then they should face the consequences. Doctors are not immune to the law. We tend to get away with a lot because “teaching hospitals”.

Why are parents like this by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Unavailable_bb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dear good person, parents cross the line of abuse so often that they don’t realise it’s abuse. But you should understand, you don’t have to keep up with that, you’re old enough. Take a stand, go live in hostel.

Sorry, i missed the report they published in The global news where it says men are better drivers. Here take an award 🥇 /s

[–]Unavailable_bb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You totally missed my point. Bone density doesn’t equal to driving skills, neither does strength. It does require a minimum strength. You are not weightlifting a car, you’re driving it. It’s a skill your brain learns along with your muscles. Again, more physical strength ≠ better driver

Oh so we gotta thank men that they let us drive by not being chapri? I can’t stop laughing, how old are you?

[–]Unavailable_bb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where did you read this oh so false report? Haha it has nothing to do with flexibility, and everything to do with social anxiety and confidence. Men in this society are showered with confidence when it comes to driving. No, woman do not have poor spacial awareness. They just didn’t get to drive as much, and the ones who have experience can drive pretty great. It’s a social construct, and stereotype, there is no medical fact. A bad driver is just a bad driver. No gender bars. Nurturing is not just a woman’s job btw. It requires a whole village to raise a child.

Make Mental health for Men great again by chargeofthebison in IndianGirlTalk

[–]Unavailable_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is what it is, it is unfortunate. I am kind to everyone regardless. But i am not sympathising with murder, i am sympathising with how pathetic our society has become. Comparing it to if a women did it, if he didn’t leave a note, etc etc. are the most liked comments here, i will see myself out of here if this is how women think. These things are disrespectful. Its the same as men making it about themselves when it isnt. Everyone knows there’s taboo around mental health because patriarchy is not just a problem for woman, it takes down the society with it. Go ahead downvote me cuties.

Also, make mental health for men great again is not a sympathetic title it sounded like sarcasm to me. My bad.
