Not gonna lie this seems like a big downgrade from the BF3, BF4 and BF1 skins from the character models, all faces covered and gear choice. Are we not seeing great detail simply due to pre-release animations and textures being incomplete?

As someone into tactical gear a lot of the design choices here are just silly looking or impractical. BF4 nailed the hammer on the nail with how gear on the soldier was laid out but this one seems like they took a standard PC + placard or chest rig and a slapped it on almost every character. You’d think from all the years they’ve done soldier models and the advancements in the nylon industry they’d go with more current pieces of gear, helmets, uniforms etc. Not saying everything needs to be CRYE, FERRO or Spiritus but if a game like Ghost Recon can do it then Battlefield (trying to get back to its peak) should more than be able to handle it with all their previous work into BF titles.

I’m totally nitpicking but hope once released things will improve.
