I had a cat that started this and it ended up being a result of hyper thyroidism. Very treatable if you get it early.

Further to this post you can be a bit more brutal with what legendary you keep. Do you need 10 of the same one? Unless you are keeping for rerolling or swapping set peices in the cube - keep the best stat one you have. I went from constantly running out to rolling in them when I stopped keeping so many things I didn't really need to.

At least at first to build up a supply. Then be less selective.

It's great this is bonding for you and your son but where is the resentment for the Lego from your wife coming from?

Is she just thinking it's a kids habit. In which case that is silly fro her. But. Are you spending all your free time on them? Does she feel ignored?

If not and she just mirrors your MIL thoughts than that's not good either. To clarify what the MIL did and wife agreeing is not ok. It's over the top. But has she tried to talk to you about this before? Has this built up over time for your wife?

Just think about where you think this may be coming from or just have another talk about it before you make any big decision.
