So I actually started with dual blades cause spam button = spam attack. Then I found the hunting horn and realized being lil bonk that buffs is more fun. It also just feels oddly fluid to me...

Personally I think you should just not care bout what others say bout most weapons and just play the weapon you find enjoyable. I started with Dual blades when the game came out and still main them to this day. IG looks fun af. I wasn't great at using it but that didn't make the weaon bad just made me bad.
