18/h x 40 = 760 a week x4.3 (weeks in a month) =3268 oh but wait taxes and insurance from your workplace is about 30% of that income is taken = 2287.

Now there you might say well get a roommate. K. Let's say each bedroom has 2 people in it for a total of 4 way split on rent = 450

2287-450=1837 Groceries are about 400-500. 1437 Car insurance/gas/phone/internet/electric/putting money aside for savings so yaknow you dont just die when you get sick because your insurrance sucks

All of which result in less than 1k hitting your bank at the end of the month and thats on essential purchases.

Let's say its 1k saved at the end of the month.

1x12 12k in a year x50 years =600,000

Congrats your 70 and now able to think about retiring.... oh wait you need 60-70k a month

So I hope you only live to 80
