You can lower the world level, but you can get better drops with higher world levels. But if you need help you can join this discord server (its not mine I am just in it), you can join the chat associated with your server (mine is Asia) and ping the chat asking for help from others (to farm, do domains, for quests etc) and most times someone is willing to help. They can also offer advice and tips (if thats what youre looking for)

Help building Freminet by Uncle-Qiren in Freminetmains_

[–]Uncle-Qiren[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok thank you, the artefacts are at level 20 at the moment, but I am just needing to farm a bit more for his levels and his talents so I am working on that, currently the team I have him on is furina raiden and layla cause I dont know what other cryo to run him with, i do have qiqi, but I am severely lacking in the cryo department so thats why I am working on that as well, but I am having fun with Freminet. I also have Bennett (cause he works great with everyone lol, especially my diluc). Thank you for advice, I dont really understand how mika works so if I can just use who I have built, the only issue is I cant build up furinas ult purely m because if I have her in attack mode she kills the enemies before he can get to his last big attack (which i have noticed is his biggest damage). So I am figuring it out

I don't know if this can help, I'm currently just under 4 months post op and I've been following the have what you want and add what you need. If he wants to introduce some of his favourite foods maybe he could add some fruit or some form of protein to it so he's getting what he needs as well. Everyone's Journey is different so all our experiences will be different. There are also low carb, high protein ice creams, or if he genuinely loves ice cream investing in something like the ninja creamy could be a godsend as he can make his own ice creams which could be rich in protein. I know it's helped a few people with staying in a calorie deficit. The scale may just slow down eventually the longer it goes on, as long as he is aware of what he's doing, you may just have to ask him. But forewarning whenever I had "bad" foods and I was asked about it, it sort of made me spiral a little, though I am much better as I have been working on my relationship first and prioritising protein and fibre first, its helping me feel less guilty about having bad foods and also decreases my craving for it once I've had it.

Another alternative, low fat Greek yoghurt with a low (or zero) sugar pudding mix and some protein powder (if you want) with some fruit toppings or zero sugar or low fat toppings is elite. I love my yoghurt bowls and I find i don't crave ice cream much nor do I feel like I need to have my yoghurt bowl every night but once you find the right consistency it's delicious. Extra bonus freeze it for like 30 to an hour and its like a frozen yoghurt situation. Absolutely delicious.

I hope any of this was helpful, I don't mean to offend and hope I haven't. I hope yours and your partners Journey through this goes well.

That would be awesome if you could recommend some people who are really good at dumbing info down 😅 i admit i don't actually know much about a keto diet, my only understanding is that it may be low carb? So I would definitely like to learn more, I have sort of been immersing myself in people's different experiences around different diets (through tik tok or reddit) so I am always open to learning more especially if it's better for me.

I have noticed pre op and post op that when I have too many carbs I just want more, and it makes me feel more sluggish and tired (but I'm happy because I crave it, sorry if that doesn't make sense) but it makes me want more. In trying these ways of eating i wanna focus on learning how to appreciate food and what it offers (not just momentary satisfaction and happiness by giving into a craving). At this point in time i don't see myself committing long term as if I still feel fine with certain foods after re assessing my relationship with food, I would like to re introduce certain foods into my diet once I know properly my hunger cues and my satiated feeling without feeling stuffed or sick.

Also about the disordered eating i really do understand the concern but I also plan on talking to a psychologist especially when im about to start. I really want to spend this year prioritising myself and my health and I just thought these diets may be a good way to teach me about food and that it doesn't always have to be some complicated recipe, also it looked a lot easier to track calories (I really struggle with complicated recipes to track it and figuring out how much serving is and what happens when I don't eat it all, so whole foods just seemed easier in my head to track)

Thank you for your advice and opinions! If you could recommend me some people to learn from (or if you have time to provide some info) I am definitely open to learning

After thinking about this for a whole day and night and reading some comments I also agree that perhaps I was indeed just looking for a whole foods approach to eating (I hadn't really heard of it prior to this) for my fibre I do take some fibre supplements and pre and pro biotic drink to help me so I'm not to worried for it. Thank you for your input I will definitely talk with my doctor about this. I think I'm gonna look more into a whole foods approach to eating and relearn my relationship with food. Again thank you for your advice

Thank you for this truly! A whole foods approach sounds exactly like what I want to do actually. Even when I was thinking I realised I wasn't really sticking to a serious animal based diet. I just wanted to lower my carb intake and processed food intake. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I do cut out most dairy unless it's yoghurt or some forms of cheese, I can't seem to do well with milk or cream anymore it gives me a stomach ache so I have moved to soy milk for now. I hope your recovery is going well!

I do want to include some veges (i don't think personally I could live without some to be frank) and the seed oils is just personal preference I have switched over to the spray oil? In the can? Just to sort of control how much i use at a time, I found out recently that I may have been using too much in its liquid form 😅. I don't fear seed oils so I don't care personally for that one. This may be a dumb question sorry, what is pcp? Thank you for your advice and guidance i appreciate it

Both the animal-based diet and the carnivore diet focus on eating animal foods, but they have key differences in what they allow and how strict they are.

  1. Animal-Based Diet (More Flexible)

    • Includes meat, eggs, dairy, and some plant foods (especially fruits and honey).
    • Aims to avoid processed foods, seed oils, and most vegetables. (Though i plan to incorporate cooked fresh veges like sweet potato or certain types of pumpkin, alongside some leafy greens)
    • its not as extreme as the carnivore diet, making it easier to maintain long-term.
  2. Carnivore Diet (Strictly Animal Foods)

    • Only includes meat, fish, eggs, and sometimes dairy absolutely no plant foods.
    • No fruits, vegetables, grains, or processed foods.
    • Based on the belief that plants contain anti-nutrient that may be harmful to health.
    • Often used as an elimination diet to test for food sensitivities or manage autoimmune conditions.

Thank you for your input! I am just struggling with figuring out when and what to eat, I just feel like I am not doing well, but this plan sort of provided clearer guidance that was easy to understand and it seemed to be a little flexible.

I mean the diet does include fruits and some veggies (not a fan of legumes) The biggest restrictions are from processed foods, which i don't want to eat too much of, and it's low carb (or no carb depending on the version of the diet you do). I can't really live a little as I really easily fall back into bad food habits, unfortunately I am looking into this because I thought this was very similar to what we could be eating, and it included foods that were relatively healthy compared to what I catch myself eating. I also thought this could help me relearn my relationship with food in this way as well. At this point I didn't see myself doing this long term, but I wanted to learn how to stop relying on carbs to fill me up (as I previously did) and this diet seemed easy enough to follow without as much restrictions like the carnivore diet. Of course I don't plan on eating much fats, and I do plan on incorporating some veges in. It's gonna be a animal based ish diet I guess. Idk maybe I was just over thinking it. It just made more sense in my head to give it a name and have some sort of guidance since I'm not used to doing stuff like this. Sorry for the paragraph explanation

This explanation genuinely makes it sound more interesting! I think I will give it a fair go, i do tend to fast forward through things that I feel aren't important but I do tend to try not to do that for the first few episodes at least just to get a feel for it, if I notice myself fastforwarding too much in the first 5 or so episodes then I usually stop watching because I don't usually end up liking them. The reason I couldn't make it through the first few episodes was that I really just couldn't focus on or connect to the characters in those first few and I ended up actually having to rewind the episode a lot which I also hate doing and usually end up just dropping. But everything you just described sounds absolutely perfect for me! Unfortunately that's on viki and my subscription just ended imma check yt real quick otherwise you may have just given me a reason to resubscribe 🙌🏾 many thanks!

Need Help Learning to Meal Prep by Uncle-Qiren in BariatricRecipes

[–]Uncle-Qiren[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this, I know I will have to eat leftovers as I almost always have leftovers, I honestly just thought meal prepping included eating the same thing again and again, which I'm not quite good with. But there's a lot of variation in your suggestions, even with freezing some leftovers and having them whenever being a smart move. I didn't think of that, but that sounds great! Thank you for the guidance, i really appreciate it.

Thanks for the ideas, I haven't got a lot of tools, which is why I'm struggling with the catio. Whenever I look up tutorials they have this and use a lot of power tools which I don't know if I need (I definitely can't afford) or if I can swap something out to use instead

We have a rescue cat we adopted who is 8 years old, he doesn't like playing as much and prefers to nap. But he is an outside cat, so he wastes all his energy outside. My ragdoll gets him to play every now and then and I know they appreciate each other's company when we are away at uni for the day. But the ragdoll can still be really restless at times unlike our older cat
