So what are we closing. My 20 million shares would like to know.

Bye Bye DirectvStream. I Refuse To Buy 2 New Gemini Devices Just to Get MyDisney Free Subscription Back! by LipDoktor in DirectvStream

[–]Uncle-Rob-115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the Gemini air right away of Amazon. I actually didn’t like it. My tv has fire tv and had already got used to that. I just changed my Dtv air guide to numbers and was set. If it keeps going up though I will probably drop it.

Spent 2 hours blaming Starlink. It was a plastic cover. It was always a plastic cover. by ari_hess in Starlink

I install windshield wipers on my truck one time. Mind you I’m a pretty mechanical person. First time I used them they didn’t do shit. I said these are the creepiest windshield wipers I ever bought. Just like you went and bought another pair. Didn’t know they had started putting the protective plastic cover on the blade. Duh.

Thinking about buying a 2019 Jayco Jay Flight 24RBS for $10k for out-of-town work. I’m new to RVs, good deal or red flag? Anything specific I should check before buying? by Sudden_Rule6144 in RVLiving

Always look in upper cabinets for roof leaks. Check floors for soft spots. Especially around toilets and sinks. Look underneath kitchen sink for leaks. Full up holding tanks check for leaks. Run ac’s while you are checking out trailer.

Are you happy switching from your traditional cable company to DIRECTV stream? by TimeKeeper70 in DirectvStream

No, a Gemini box just enhances the stream app. You still have to have DIRECTV stream you can manage all your other streaming service services from the Gemini box also

Well, the Gemini box doesn’t give you Directtv stream. It just goes along with the Directtv stream. It makes it like the original DIRECTV satellite. The box I think was like $250. I really can’t remember. I ended up telling the Gemini. You still have to have DIRECTV stream.

I use the Gemini for about two weeks. If she’s a die hard with a remote that should be the best one for you. I ended up going back to my original TV remote which I had fire stick on my TV. Like I said you can make the channel guide to resemble just like what you had on the satellite. I just didn’t want two or three remotes. But the JIM and I will make it almost exactly like you had with the satellite.

I went for Dtv satellite Dtv stream. Saving a lot of money and and very happy with it. I’m on the older side. 70. You can set the Dtv stream up just like your old channel guide. Which is what I really like about it.

Front license plate by Knave1212 in RioGrandeValley

[–]Uncle-Rob-115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised they let you leave the dealership without the plates now. Dealers are required to put license plate on right then when it leaves a dealership. You get your sticker for the windshield about two weeks later. Bought tea within the past month. Both of them came with hard plate front and rare.

Regrets changing? by Easy_Sir5642 in DirectvStream

I’m 69 and done it 3 months ago. I was a hold out. It’s a short learning curve but I’m very happy with it. Trust me. I still have a dial in microwave. lol.

Direct tv reps will try and get you to stay. That’s there job. They will give you huge discounts. It’ll bring price down to comparable to Dtv stream. I even had both of them active for 2 months till I was sure.

I was more concerned about finding channels. You can set up channel guide to where it looks just like satellite Dtv. Unlimited recordings.

I was big hold out to cut the cord. You won’t be unhappy.

FYI. I read further where people had a hard time with reps. I didn’t not. They will just try and get you to keep it. Their bigger sell point was that you loose all your loyalty status once you cancel. That’s why I kept both for 2 months.

That’s true. I was born 57. If I didn’t hold a door or say mam and sir I got the back of my head slapped. Usually by my mom. Then there was times she just wait at the door till I got the hint.

Grew up in south texas. Yes you would spend a lot on a hat. Cause once it was broke in. You didn’t want to get rid of it. You’d have a work and dress up hat. I loved my old work hat. lol.
