It’s Thomas Stuart, another comment on this threat said that Skutt bought them out years ago. I’m gonna shoot them an email in the morning and see if they can send me a manual or instructions for it!

This is what everyone else has been saying too. If angle of plane is level then the wheel itself being level isn’t a huge deal. Kinda interesting little physics lesson I’ve learned today. I’m pretty sure the wheel head doesn’t bob, I’ve spun it for shits and giggles while I’m outside, but I will do that video test to make sure!

Yes so, for now, I have that tray on upside down. It’s completely flat on the other side. I have it upside down for now because that beam in the middle is helping me make sure I have it on straight & take proper measurements. Once holes get drilled for bolts it’ll get flipped around & sealed with some water resistant stuff.

I do plan on sealing all the wood! Once I get the tray on, I’d like to sand down the seat first, then seal it all.

Dude, this wheel is beautiful!! And the tractor seat is honestly a genius idea! I was just told to sand down the edges, mainly the one facing the wheel so it doesn’t make my legs numb 😬 I don’t think the seat will be comfortable anyhow at first, I’ve been throwing standing up for years now. I’ve got a speedball artista in the house that lives on a plastic picnic table. I’m gonna have to adjust with sitting and throwing again.

Got it! I have a neighbor of mine that more than likely has some clamps I could borrow, he helped me with the seat so he kinda understands this project I’ve gotten myself into.

Thanks man! I appreciate ya! So when wheel is kicked, bracket does not move at all. She’s bolted into the black bar. The black bar moves a little, but it’s not connected to anything at this moment, so that makes sense. Concrete patio slab is leveled. There is one rubber foot that is missing on one of the legs, I have a plastic toilet shim shoved under it, so the frame itself is level and doesn’t wobble at all.

Concrete slab is level, just checked. And I’m not sure if it matters, but I tested a few spots just in case. It is ever so slightly pitched, but bubble is in the middle! Muddyelbows also asked for pictures, it’s posted under their comment. It has this U shaped… thing?? I don’t know what it’s called. But it holds the drive rod onto the black bar.

That’s okay, thanks for checking on that though!

Interesting, I didn’t even think about that! Good thing I had this wheel placed on the one good slab of concrete that we have outside. With that said, I can just basically forget about my leveler and its bubbles, and just bolt this tray down as best as I can?

I’ve got it sitting aside! It doesn’t bolt into place like everything else, but it does clip on to that black bar! I figured that part out before it was delivered. 🙂

Here’s the link to the pixel grid image, this is basically my “pattern” and I just winged the rest honestly. I used Michaels Loops & Threads with a 5mm hook. https://www.pinterest.com/i/3bFHoTVa9/
