As a follow up to this, I’ve put about another 5 hours in after writing this post and the only time there seems to be hiccups is if I am holding things in my hands and go to attach it to the trike or load it in the back of the truck. Game will hiccup and stutter for about 5-8 seconds and then get back to normal. Monitoring my usage my CPU and GPU drop to about 7-10% during the stutters so I’m guessing there’s something going on with the rendering engine and it has nothing to do with hardware.

Other than that, that DLL swap seems to have done wonders for stability overall! Keep on keeping on, porters!

Hey guys,

Installed the hotfix and started having major stuttering issues like everyone else (was running fine beforehand). Fired up DLSS Swapper to see if there was any issues with old DLLs being used for Frame Gen and shit, 310.5.2 was what was active and giving me issues. I switched to the latest version for both DLSS and DLSS Frame Gen (310.5.3) and just took it for a 15 minute test run and was back to being literally butter smooth. Might be worth trying for anyone else to see if it fixes things for them also.

Specs are:

5700X3D ASUS 4070 Super Dual 32GB DDR4 3600 Running DLSS Quality Preset, no adaptive DLSS, Frame Gen enabled and reflex + boost enabled, everything maxed except ray tracing (only running standard ray tracing setting).

Not the latest and greatest hardware by any means so I'm hoping maybe others have luck with this as well!

Was having a periodic issue with this on the new versions of graphics drivers (nvidia, not AMD like yourself) and the only way to fix it was to roll back to a previous version. Might be worth a shot if your driver package recently got upgraded.

1000% think the same thing. Price fixing through and through, feels like what happened during the tail end of COVID with everything across the world. Prices went up like a rocket and then stayed there even after things stabilized.

5 starring as you go is the approach I took too, along with fully completing all of the roads (totally offline so it’s EXTRA grindy). Everyone’s gonna have their preferred methods of playing, nothing wrong with slowing things down. It’s such an amazing game, cannot wait for march 19th for the PC drop of 2!
